So there was thread here started a few days ago asking what people thought about a certain country and asked people all over the ATS to chime in...

So I have another question kind of on the same premise but asked a different way...

If you could chose another country besides the one you currently live in to move to, what county would it be??
Basically if you can live any where other than where you live where would it be and why....

I'll start, I live in America but would love to live in Chile or even New Zealand....Purely for the untouched vast stretches of wilderness...

This is NO longer in the Mud Pit!!!

I'd happily take up residence along the Mayan Riviera in the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico. Alas, I just have to take visiting as often as I can instead.

Beautiful area...I have spent a lot of time there fishing, and maybe a little drinking.

So where is staying put?? lol you're supposed to chose at least one. That's the point of the game.. however your choice of places to visit it pretty strong!! I have been to Egypt years and years ago. It was an amazing trip and I would love to go back once it settles a little. I actually have some extended family who live there and they said it is still to hostile to westerners to visit quite yet.

Can't beat living in the USA, but New Zealand or Greenland offer isolation/protection from world events.

😂.. cute reply!

I 'd like somewhere where its fall all year around .. but that won't happen .. so I'll stick with Canada.
The beautiful long fall seasons of the American east coast as well as middle states appeal very much to me... but eh .. I 'm Canadian and that's how I want it to stay for now.

Iceland seems like it would be a good, isolated place. I also admire how they do their own thing and tell the bankers to sod off.

My other choice would probably be the Bahamas...beautiful islands and wonderful people.

Yea the problem is too many people in the world share that opinion. What happens when everybody makes a mad dash to those places eh?

I currently live in the land of Citrus and Gators, or Floriduh. I always enjoy my trips to New Mexico though, very very majestic land.

Somewhere in the Caribbean.
Spent two months down in Antigua and loved every minute of it. Only thing I missed was my family, friends, and the crisp Canadian air, but man, it was so me, the food, culture, people, beaches, just writing about it makes me miss it so much.
Been to almost all the Islands Tobago and Antigua are definitely my favorite.

Tatooine seems to be a good spot to hide out amongst other rogue's and outcast's such as myself. Seems to be a pretty culturally diverse and accepting place unless of course you are a droid in which case you will more than likely end up being sold into slavery which sucks for you.

If I could move (i legally cant) I would like to live in France, Italy, Sweden, Norway or Switzerland.

The United States is great and Im glad I am here its just not my #1. I feel it is declining and backwards on many issues. It doesnt feel as "free" as it should. Politically...its very shady.

There are many great aspects of America as well so I really cannot complain, just not my #1.

(and i am the one who wrote the thread yesterday of asking people from abroad to comment on America)

As for a person who lives in CA, I would like to live in the Southern US. Tbh I hated the atmosphere of where I live (LA) due to various reasons like Antifa/SJWs running around blocking freeways and pulling fire alarms, Hollyweird Celebrities, and the fact it's so expensive in LA.

I like the Southern US because it has a very interesting culture like Southern Hospitality, Manners, and an interesting history (Yes I acknowledge there are bad parts of it but that doesn't define the whole South).

Also I like the Southern accent and I think the girls there are beautiful.

And no I am not a white guy if you think I like I like South because of the Confederacy or KKK.

Edit: Ooooops I didn't see the part where it says another country but still that's the one place outside of California I would like to go.

Lol Tattooine, I confessed I wish I live alone in the desert just like Obi Wan Kenobi away from the craziness of human society.
