A foreign country supporting a particular candidate for President is not collusion or treason.

A foreign country hacking someone's e-mails and releasing them is not collusion or treason. Espionage maybe. Should definitely be investigated, vulnerabilities fixed, and handled diplomatically.

Nobody is even remotely close to proving Russia and Trump came to an agreement to sabotage HRC's campaign in return for money/political favors.

It hasn't even been proven Russia hacked the E-mails. How they were obtained is not stone cold fact.

All the while the media and liberals are distracted by this Russia nonsense Trump is delivering on what promises he can. There will be a lot of incumbent Republicans in trouble come election time for not support the POTUS, the wall, repealing Obamacare, etc.

Wow...to think that a foreign political figure would support one candidate over another in the U.S. Presidential election. This is completely unprecedented in modern political times!

Oh, wait a minute, here is a list of foreign political figures who openly endorsed Barak Obama during his 2008 run for office...

Wouter Bos, Minister of Finance and deputy prime minister of The Netherlands
Gordon Brown, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and the leader of the Labour Party
Kurt Beck, Minister President of the German federal state of Rhineland-Palatinate (Rheinland-Pfalz), and former chairman of Germany's Social Democratic Party
Bertrand Delanoë, mayor of Paris, France and member of the French committee for Obama
Patrick Devedjian, leader of the French political party Union for a Popular Movement
Laurent Fabius, former Prime Minister of France
George Galloway, British Respect Party MP for Bethnal Green and Bow
Ralph Gonsalves, Prime Minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
Daniel Hannan, British Conservative party MEP for South East England
François Hollande, former head of France's Socialist Party and current president of France.
Michael Ignatieff, Deputy Leader of the Liberal Party of Canada
Boris Johnson, Mayor of London, former British Conservative Party Member of Parliament for Henley
Andrés Manuel López Obrador, former Mexican presidential candidate and social leader.
Trevor Manuel, Minister of Finance of South Africa.
Daniel Ortega, President of Nicaragua
Axel Poniatowski, president of the foreign affairs commission at the National Assembly of France
Fredrik Reinfeldt, Prime Minister of Sweden
Ségolène Royal, former French Socialist presidential candidate
Tulip Siddiq, British Labour Party politician
Walter Veltroni, leader of the Italian opposition Democratic Party and former mayor of Rome]

List of Foreign Obama Colluders

So, according to the current media/political climate Obama colluded with political figures from at least 10 Countries.

Having said that, it was not very smart of Trump Jr. to take a meeting with anybody after exchanging emails that included suggestions that the Russian Government supports his father, and wants to provide dirt on his opponent. In a way, it is lucky for him that (apparently) this person did not try to slip him any info on Hillary...because that would have lengthened the "paper trail", especially if they leaked it, or had hired people to look into the allegations further.

Just shows the political inexperience of the Trump team...that he would have even replied to the email in the open - let alone say he is interested and wants to set up the meeting. Just dumb...he would have failed Spycraft 101.

Well, one thing is for certain!

Make the mistake of turning on CNN in any one of the next 8 days or so and this is ALL they will be talking about. They might even be able to work it into the Sports and Weather news..........not that they really report on Sports or Weather.

This has to be the most boring, and at the same time, the most bizarre news cycle I've ever endured. Turning on MSM news today is like reading the headlines on the Tabloids displayed at the grocery store check-out line, except instead of a headline like "The Real Reason for Brad Pitt's divorce from Angelina", EVERY headline on MSM is "Trump Colluded with Russians to Derail Hilary Campaign and steal election!"

Endorsing a candidate and actively trying to get a preferred candidate elected are two different things.
As different as Allies and Adversaries.

You do realize that this is bad for HIllary and not Trump do you?

Not really, at least not yet. Because what compromising or embarassing info did the Russians provide Jr on Hillary? The answer is nothing. Not only did Don Jr leave empty handed, he got the bait and switch and there's no indication there was ever any info in the first place.

I read this opinion piece with great interest. Although opinion, the article lists facts that support their opinion. If you don't like the opinion dispute the facts not the media.

Democrats’ Piling Defeats Signal Russia Focus Is a Losing Strategy

In a recent interview on MSNBC, Sen. Chris Murphy said, “The fact that we had spent so much time talking about Russia has, you know, has been a distraction from what should be the clear contrast between Democrats and the Trump agenda, which is on economics.”

The obsession with Russia may provide sensationalism for Democrats’ public relations efforts, but it does little to encourage voters to support the the party. Instead, it has alienated people and turned them off from from participating in democracy. At the same time, it has provided cover for the Trump administration and Republicans to push through their policies under much less public scrutiny.

They were going to get released one way or another but today Donald Trump Jr has taken the (Russian) bull by the horns and released his email chain on conversations with Russian sources.
twitter.com... chain-russia-hillary-clinton

"The Crown prosecutor of Russia met with [Agalarov’s] father Aras this morning and their meeting offered to provide the Trump campaign with some official documents and information that would incriminate Hillary and her dealings with Russia would be very useful to your father,” reads one of the emails from Rob Goldstone to Trump Jr.
“This is obviously very high level and sensitive information but is part of Russia and its government's support for Mr. Trump."“This is obviously very high level and sensitive information but is part of Russia and its government's support for Mr. Trump."
thehill.com...

Game on.

He is a bit of a chump too is Donald Jr, can he not see that any remarks about, 'Russian government support' regardless of what else is said, is enough to have any intel system's noses twitching!

BTW, just looking at Donald Jr's tweet after dad's tweet on the military aircraft crash,

Donald Trump Jr.‏Verified account @DonaldJTrumpJr 3h
No Outrage???

What's he referring too?

He's referring to another country claiming they have evidence of ACTUAL corrupt behavior with a foreign power... and the Dems are all "I can't believe how evil you are for having an email that shows how evil we are!"

Great idea to repost after the mid terms. But, this general reason is exactly why the D's lost the 2016 and the four special elections. The public is so tired of "vote for me because you are supposed to" and fake bs news.

So in a sense already reposting it!

Don't change a thing D's. I'm loving it.

Taxes down....?
You could, the wall will have to go for a start. The infrastructure is a must, probably cost trillions,
(probably billions in St Louis alone, although you might getaway by forgetting about that for another while
) Do away with the forever plane, the F35, and stop Trump going to Mar De Largo every farts end.

Do you really think that Bertrand Delanoë, member of the "French committee for Obama" would not have been engaging in activities designed to get his preferred candidate elected?

Wouldn't a public endorsement from the Prime Minister of Sweden be made with the intention of influencing the votes of U.S. citizens of Swedish extraction - let alone to curry favour with the incoming POTUS, for the future benefit of Sweden?

Is your middle name "Naivete" perhaps?

Sorry, but you're splitting hairs. An endorsement is made with the intent of influencing an election. Otherwise, what would be the point of giving one? Or seeking one out?

And let's not forget that the alleged information was illegal campaign contributions. They claimed she had evidence of the DNC committing a crime. Are you seriously going to claim that trying to expose evidence of a crime is itself illegal?

So it's OK for Trump Jr to try to obtain illegally acquired documents to expose wrongdoing but not Snowden or Manning ?

You all seem to be ignoring this...

The email, from publicist Rob Goldstone, claimed the information was part of "Russia and its government's support for Mr. Trump."

www.cnn.com...

First, there is no such thing as a crown prosecutor in Russia. Second, this British man does not work for the Russian government and does not speak for the Russian government. All of this is stupid fake news 1 year after what happened.
