Sickening: SJWs support the torture of Otto Warmbier by the North Koreans.

I know this is old news but but still important because this shows that many SJWs do have weird crush with Fat Boy.

A US college professor who suggested Otto Warmbier “got exactly what he deserved” has lost her position at the University of Delaware.

Professor Katherine Dettwyler recently posted a Facebook status about Mr Warmbier, the 22-year-old college student who died after being held in captivity by the North Korean government.

Mr Warmbier visited North Korea with a tour group in January 2016, and was detained upon exit for allegedly stealing a government poster. When he was returned to his family earlier this month, he was in a state of “unresponsive wakefulness,” unable to speak or respond to commands. He died last Monday of unknown causes.

Also ironic, while they claimed Otto Warmbier was racist because he was white, North Korea made racial slurs against Obama and got away with it.

North Korea's state media KCNA described President Barack Obama using racial epithets and likened him to a "wicked black monkey."

Has it been proven he was tortured?

I'm still wondering why the family threw away the chance of getting that answer by declining an autopsy.

I am more disturbed by people cling for bombs to drop on that nation because of Otto. So pissed that one dip# died they are ready to kill more

Actually North Korea is a racist country. I will make a thread about it and it's not just CNN saying it. There are others including Eastern Europeans who reported racist attacks against them by the North Koreans when they were living in North Korea.

It makes me feel like the smartest man in the world. I can freely go about my life seeing things from different perspectives. I can go to the grocery store and engage in several conversations with strangers.



Edit: I went to UNR(Reno), university of Pittsburgh and Robert Morris university. Teachers acually taught the subjects I paid $45K to learn. Now it would appear that teachers are teaching Revisionist History . Worse than what we were taught... Columbus, Betsy Ross, Native American history (Trail of Tears), "The British are coming"...etc...

After almost 3/4's of a century of totalitarian rule, and an almost total control of education and information? Hate to say it, but many of them will, or rather would, hate it.

Read about the Stockholm Syndrome. You'll see it on a national scale in North Korea.

To us, he's a jackass. To many, if not most, of the people living in North Korea? He's a living God. Because they've heard nothing else all their lives and the lives of their parents and grandparents. With the older generation having known only oppression on the part of the Japanese prior to the rise of the Kims, and their kids having known nothing else?

This is insensitive, I know it, so call me all the names in the book, it's fine that doesn't affect me but here is my personal opinion:

When you go to another country, you follow their rules, and when you don't, you suffer their consequences. Now whether or not those consequences are considered reasonable or out of bounds by the rest of the world is another subject completely. Some even say he may not have ever committed a crime in the first place, that's all questionable I agree- however again- This country has been known for this sort of thing for a long time. I don't care what group promises or advertises your safety while accompanying you to that dangerous country, you should have better judgement.

Now Otto was kind, and trusting, and loving, he was genuinely by all accounts a great example of a Man, and an intelligent hard working guy. However he did not have better Judgement when it came to travelling to NorKo, in this situation he was incredibly naive.

I feel terribly for his family, I would not want to experience that grief and suffering as a parent. But I understand that it is what it is.

Perhaps there should be more global conversation about what kind of punishment is acceptable. If the world feels like banding together to put a stop to certain forms of imprisonment or punishment they will. If the world feels it's not worth a conflict or a war, they will not. It's both complicated and simple to me on different levels.
