twitter.com...

Looks like NPR is in hot water for spewing more liberal propaganda (as the more savvy Trump commentators points out - though you'll have to dig a bit).

This begs the question; Is the Declaration of Independence nothing more than liberal propaganda? Should NPR have also included tweets from 'Art of the Deal' so that the American People can have a balanced display of information?

I only listen to NPR if it's for BBC news or local events/guests... their bias is so painfully obvious. And NO, the Declaration of Independence is not propaganda. It is a legitimate, huge piece of American history and our republic. Every single radio host for them gets condescending and on their high horse whenever the discussion turns to politics (at least on my local VPR). And they are incorrect about a lot of their commentary, stating things as facts when it is just speculation, or relating 2 topics that are in no way connected or influencing each other.

Just read an article about this, hilarious. It seems to be so easy to anger one side or another. My question is how did any Trump supporter even follow NPR?!

All joking aside, it is incredibly impractical to tweet the Declaration and it's impressive that individuals (Americans) that saw lines didn't automatically know what they were from! Like they thought the NPR was directly attacking the president.

Am I missing something here?

You can't honestly be serious, OP. What's next? Calling the Consitution a liberal rag?

Wtf....

It talks about the Creator ... that's the first sign it can't be.

As the tweet says, it a tradition that NPR has been doing for years.

The DoI is not liberal propaganda.

Apparently some Trump supporters saw a certain tweet containing a line from the DoI regarding tyrants and they went ape#, thinking they were speaking about Trump.

NPR took a few tweets that said dumb things and associated those with all "trump supporters" to push an agenda.
It's low information pushing low information trying like hell to assume the facade of intelligence. (it didn't work)

Where did NPR state those responses were indicative of all Trump supporters?

NPR tweeted Declaration Of Independence and trump supporters flipped out thinking NPR was calling for a revolution - bless their hearts.

I like this comment -

"When Trump supporters recognize him in the description of a tyrant... priceless."

For a group that calls liberals snowflakes and triggered.

They sure do get upset when someone perceives a bash that wasn't a bash at their Trump.

Sorry, that is fundamentally untrue and completely misses the actual point. I am certain it is just an oversight on your part.

Normally when someone is bashing on a Trump, its because someone made a lacklustre attempt at a fart.

But in any case, it could not be more appropriate that Trump supporters consider the existence and the reading or posting of the Declaration of Indpendence to be a threat, to be a bash on them and their president. There is a very good reason for them to feel that way.

The Declaration of Independence should be read, in full, on every network in the country, until people realise that Mr Trump and his idiot drone army, stand against it or at least against the spirit of it, in every utterance they make and every single action they attempt, normally fail to take.

Was the Declaration of Independence, and the establishment of the style of government not very liberal given it's time?
Technically...

Correction: It is the Declaration of Independence not the Constitution that was displayed on NPR's Twitter. But your point still stands, both documents should be required knowledge of any American.
