Personally though I do hope the US does get back into space, China and Russia certainly are and if the US does not then they will surely fall behind and no longer be the leader of any part of the world.

Me too, particularly private enterprise, tourism based preferrably.

Seriously? Why share a snippet? The full video starting with Pence shows Aldrin quite uncomfortable. Obviously sweating under the lights. Right before Trump comes to the podium, you can see him swiping a handkerchief across his forehead and face. Also, see he is quite happy to be the first to shake Trump's hand. I am deducing that he is getting old, tired, but happy that he is still included in his dream of space.

AT 4:34 Buzz does a hand signal to someone. Not sure what it means. It kinda looks like the "more money" symbol but anyone know what that hand sign means. I've been wondering about that.

He looks so old and frail. 87 years old. I hope he tells all that he knows if he hasn't already before he passes.

Agreed, Personally I do believe the US should have a state interest though until they have laid down the beginning of the infrastructure then later get the ball rolling for private enterprise, it is a rare case, it can not start without government incentive and state level motivation and it can not continue unless there is private enterprise, mining on the moon and the asteroid's, hotels' in space and beyond, the new frontier but unfortunately we are still too earth centered in our racial psychology.

Still it will need that private enterprise if it is ever to truly grow into something that can say to the solar system WE HAVE ARRIVED and perhaps even eventually to the Galaxy and the universe beyond.

He's pretty clearly uncomfortable physically even before Trump starts talking. Poor old guy's gone viral probably because he needs to jet off to the bathroom.

You know that is probably the answer we really need, how old is this guy, older men in particular suffer bladder problem's and also old people in general quire frequently suffer incontinence as one of those perk's of getting old.
He was probably wined and dined and the food was most likely a little too rich so just maybe he really was physically in distress but doing his best not to show it.

Buzz Lightyear... he seems emotional and internally conflicted, regarding trumps words.

This is telling that what Trump is saying, and what Buzz has experienced, are internally conflicting within his thoughts and emotion (look at him crying a bit).

Very interesting indeed. I truely wonder what he knows may be hidde from the people, and that is the conflicting part avout Trumps speech.

Before that happens we need to stop being so trigger happy.

We still have cops and military with the attitude of shoot first ask questions rarely.

I'm not advocating disarmament just the oxymoronic idea of military intelligence.

If you watch where he makes the "money" sign, Buzz had his hand behind his back and then makes the sign which to me says "wet".

He shifts from foot to foot and keeps trying to appear dignified but what i see is that he was trying to get the attention of aides off screen who could be signalled to let them know that he needed to use the facilities.

I could totally see "why did i not go before we got in front of cameras?"

Interesting - Is he mugging it up because "Hey, doofus - we've already been to space!" or is it "You DO realize earth is flat and there is a glass dome you can't break through?". I regard the last alternative as unlikely.
