I do have a fear that putting it in the mud pit would encourage a lot of trump and Hillary bashing, and derail a fun thread.

Hmm, yes that is a very fair point. I will take all into consideration and will post a link here and in The Shed to make sure you are in the know

I'll have a few bars here to comb through for ammo and got tons of bombs stored up and well I could manufacture more on the fly

Vulgarity masked in metaphor seemed to get a free pass. We had a few people participating with a how shall I say...limited vocabulary and imagination...

I meant gather ammo in the sense of letting a few people go first so I have words to twist. ..

Its funny that you mention that example. I will admit I am heavily influenced by e.p.m.d. and Pete rock and cl smooth..later on I was into the wu .. method man reakwon, the genius.. and there would always come a bar or a half a bar that I heard and thought I can take that to a better place..and a lot of my better verses have been built off those lines..I take it someplace else and then when I m done I chop that line..there is a good chance big heard that line and took the rest
of his rap to a better place in his mind. Maybe that line was so integral to where he went he could not chop it..
