I was going to the bathroom thinking about how this time of night was when you saw UFO's a lot and I looked out the window and saw these bright lights and a sort of circular shape of which was orange, then it seemed to shrivel up and deteriorate into nothing
! What could it have been???I asked my father and he assured me that it wasn't a plane

have you seen anything like this before?

Have a look round the net and see if you can find any simular pics of what you witnessed out side..

Was there any noise from the object?

And did anyone else see this?

Also note down the time and day you seen it, and listen out as others may have also seen this object

If what you saw was indeed orange and circular, your probably dealing with an orb.Iv discussed this type of UFO in a previous forum.

Orbs I believe, act like the electronic eyes for extra-terrestrials who might possibly be monitering earth.Orbs are usually thought to be 10feet in diameter but there have been some reports of bigger.Although i personally believe there electronic monitering systems.

The reason why they glow orange is due to their extremely fast atmospheric enterance. Thus when this orb is coming in at such a speed into the atmosphere,it emits an orange colour. This could apply to many other types of objects, although i dont thing any manmade objects have been fast enough.

But im afriad it would be hard to make a quick assumption that this is indeed an orb. This is because 95% of all these UFO sightings result in everyday manmade objects. So what you could of been looking at mostlikely(according to many scientific research)is manmade, nothing special.

If you live somwhere near the testing areas (nevada, california) or anywhere near Huntsville or Eglin Air Force base, that might be a good explanation. Usually places like that have test planes flying in all the time to be tested.

cropsmoker, if you do sincerely believe what you saw was unconventional in nature, please report it to NUFORC -- click here for a link to their home page. The link to their web-based report form is easily visible on the home page.

BlackSt -- It's funny you mention the "orange" orbs, as the Monday before last (two weeks ago tomorrow), while returning from dinner, my wife and I watched an orange orb slowly meandering just below the low cloud cover.

When we first saw it, we turned off the next sidestreet and pulled over to the side of the road. Pure silence... it slowly zig-zagged in our general direction (it wasn't real distant to begin with), at what I would guess was an altitude of maybe 1,000'...

It was so close to the cloud ceiling (of approx. 1,000') that it actually illuminated the bottom of the cloud cover.

By now, I was standing outside the car while my wife was viewing it from through the open sunroof. Since the frequency of these sightings began to increase, I have began carrying an HID flashlight in with me in the car.

I held this flashlight, pointed it upwards towards the orb, and began flashing it intermittently.

The object stopped, and began to drift just above the bottom surface of the cloud. What happened next was seen differently by my wife and I: I saw it simply "blink out," whereas my wife described seeing it "shoot upward."

Now, while I guess it is possible that the object had enterred the atmosphere shortly before it came into our field of view, it was in fact moving *very* slowly (maybe 30-40 mph before it stopped) -- during the duration of our sighting (which lasted approx. 1 1/2 - 2 minutes).

When i mention orbs moving at a fast pace,i ment this once it enters the atmosphere.Once the orb has passed the atmosphere it will slow down and move at a slow pace.

The reason for why it still grows orange is the fact that the intense heat that emits this orange colour takes a while to dissappear.(E.g if you heat metal and it glows orange then you stop heating it,it will still stay orange for a while, the more stronger the heat, the longer it takes for the glow to dissappear).Once its gone,i believe orbs become almost invisible to the naked eye. This is ofcourse my own opinion, many others would think otherwise.

It seems that many members here have experienced orb encounters, makes you wonder.

But i thankyou for bringing that question up,i failed to mention that orbs do move in slow paces.

That premonition type stuff is quite common. You were just thinking about UFO's when you saw one. Happens that way alot. Same with car crashes. Ghosts. Getting dumped.

Skeptics would say you had the idea in your head before you saw it and made it happen. Believers might have another explanation.

It's easy to discount until it happens to you.

One tiem I saw a ufo when in the car. My mom assured me it was a blimp because it was hovering but then it sped out of site extremely fast. I wonder why the aliens wanna watch us? Maybe we're just little test subjects.

yeah I saw an orb at night a couple of years ago, it was following the course of the Murray River, not far from where I live in South Australia. It was really slow and there was absolutley no sound coming from it whatsoever.

Strange.

ive seen something kinda similar while driving back from houston. i was in the passenger seat looking out the window. I noticed there were at least 2 planes leaving chemtrails and i was just looking at their pattern.
while i was looking at one chemtrail i noticed a gold flash right above one of the chemtrail. It had a spherical shape and I watched it for only 4 seconds before it disappeared. I can't say for 100% that it was a UFO because I've never seen a UFO before but i would like to believe that it was one. Too bad I didnt have a camera

being from the city, I encounter alot of lights, of many sources. So my skeptisicm isnt of Alien Aircraft, but its how quickly we distiquish them as alien aircraft. Its most likely if you arent near any test site, site of known UFO's, its probably just a mistaken commerical or military aircraft.
