I have seen them come and go, they are all based upon the same thing, and generally suffer the same problem, even if they establish constant forward
momentum, the magnets eventually deguass. so you would have to replace
all the magnets which would get expensive after awhile.
The main forms of alternative energy in the future will all probably be 2 stage, such as solar starter, hydrogen electrolysis converters fuel cells.
otherwise known as brown gas, or similiar forms known as rhodes gas.
I could see a solar aided magnet motor using a stator that went in and out of the magnetic core, using the energy of the solar cell. this would
prevent the magnets own energy from depleteing the momentum, but would it provide more than the original solar cell and non modified version alone?
always hoping for better energy sources...
