And its not ATS...its you. Some of your settings, browser prefs, sites you visit, links you save....its something there. Not from here. We all dont get these.

If it was from here...we all 300,000+ plus members would have that problem...so its not something ATS can rectify....since its you and a few others who are having this issue.

*Add-PS Try using Desktop Version on mobile ...

I would suggest using the desktop site, if not I use Firefox add ons Bluhell firewall and uBlock origin. I turn bluhell off when I use ats mobile I do still get the normal ads but leaving uBlock on stops the high jacking ads.

Yeah..its seems better that way...whether my phone, tablet or laptop. It also fits more although one needs to widen out to read...

But, zero issues

That gives you an idea just how POPULAR this site is as a magnet to companies that do that. One can block all or most of these from your own settings...no matter what device(s) you may use. And you dont have to block ads against ATS rules to do it.

Good luck all!

If every one had the same IP, cookies and location, you would have a point Mysterioustranger. Sites hand out ad's based on many different factors. I doubt some one living in Canada will get ad's for things sold only in Japan!

Mysterioustranger, every time some one complains about an ad, you are always here stating it is the person's computer and they must have been looking at porn and have a computer virus or somesuch. Why not ask any web dev about how ad's are targeted. Even if he had a virus and looked at all the porn ever created...why would he only get that ad on ATS?

And yet I get a pm from a mod everytime I mention its not necessarily this site for sure..and mention nothing about porn or maleware ..just that the ATS site has a few 100,000 members with no such issues here.. .ever.

Therefore ? The replies I make to this topic.. .I learned myself. .right here on ATS 5-6 years ago.. .from helpful members and mods.

To be helpful and pass that on as it was to me. ..is my only intent. Knowledge is a good thing and should be taken in the way intended.

Thanks for the reply.. .

Mods have to tow the line. However, it its not ATS doing bad things, true, but it is the unruly ads ATS has allowed in that ruin peoples trust in the site.

Yeah, ATS has or has had an ad checker, but some have slipped through the cracks.
