I don't have to prove anything. I believe what they are saying is lies and it has been proven they have lied multiple times in the past without a doubt....

I'm not concerned with what you believe. Only what you can prove. Sure, all media outlets get things wrong here and there, but you are blowing this out of proportion in order to defend Trump.

These things among others make up what some people call "common sense". I know you may not be familiar with the term so let me elaborate... When something you think is happening actually happens, and then you see it happening on more than one occasion and continually without apology or change....it is COMMON SENSE that this is a real world occurrence and should be treated as such..

That is a logical fallacy.

Let me break it down even more. If I have never seen a rose before or know anything about them and I go to pick the rose and get pricked...I have learned something is wrong. When I get to pick the rose again and get pricked again I once again have learned something about this plant and its stickers.....Now after getting pricked a few times and learning about plant "common sense" kicks in from experience that this plant has stickers and I need to be careful in handling it.

Cool story.

MSNBC continues to stick people with lies and deceit.....I have used my "common sense" and experience to know I need to take everything they said with care....I don't want to get pricked by their lies over and over.... But hey you keep picking that rose bare handed....I'll use clippers.

Fair enough. Why aren't you applying the same "common sense" to Trump? We have plenty of evidence to prove he's a "prick".

Agreed.

But it's not just dangerous, it's downright scary at this point. I wouldn't find it terribly troubling if there were not so many supporting this particular type of activity from the highest profile position in this country. If US citizens in general found it to be distasteful no matter how staunch their support for him were, it wouldn't be as troubling, but it seems there are a whole lot of people who want nothing more than to be able to throw down at the slightest provocation just because they can.

With respect to state run media, I firmly believe its not if at this point, but when...and I cant help but to wonder if given the temperature of this political climate, if its not being orchestrated as we speak.

Also lots of evidence he spreads fake news.

Trump with just a few characters has revealed liberal and media hypocrisy in the most obvious way.

Not a peep about the constant rhetoric against the President and conservatives.
Then an utter meltdown because he tweets about Mika's facelift.

Brilliant.

That's what's so dangerous. He is twisting up his base against any journalists who deflate his narrative with facts. We are a couple of clicks away from state-sanctioned media. This business of him controlling the briefings (what's on camera, etc) and pulling press credentials or using a press pool at his whim - is total bull#. It's the behavior of a petty despot, not the Leader of the Free World.

Very, very true, yet some fail to see what is in front of their face because "Go Trump!". Some of us have been saying this for a while, and we've already had one reporter assaulted and one arrested. Restricting video and audio is essentially manipulating the narrative for the purpose of content regulation.

We also have the seeds of doubt being sown against all media, to where only the "official" narrative is the one to be believed, or when control of the media is desired by those in power to regulate content, which is dangerous and leads to autocracy.

Dangerous, dangerous.

putin taught him well??
the idea that everyone who speaks out against him and his administration is just a wild eyes liberal out to destroy him that needs to be crushed is insane...
and when is media outlets that are portrayed this way, well...
it's an attack on the free press, an attack on our constitution...
they can fake new, fake news, fake news all they want but they had better realize just how much fake news their mouthpieces put out to get this child man into office to begin with!!!

It's brilliant you don't see the difference between jobs and the demeanor they carry. Trump would literally be fired from hr of any company.

You seem to think the media, artists, and the president's words all have the same weight.

If that's what your saying I guess I should start listening to Beyonce or Vince Vaughn.

Utter meltdown?

Such dramatics.

All we are saying is this isn't cool. Even Republicans and Conservatives have gone on twitter to say as much.

Stop being a Trump lapdog.

No, it's the fact that he's President of the United States of America, and he's debasing the office though his unrestrained, base, sophomoric, and derogatory behavior instead of holding to a more dignified and higher standard.

yes, and he has brought what is either a horrible lie about a person or something that is more like a confidential healthcare matter out to be discussed everywhere, even on ATS...
I am sure his wife, ya know the one that said she wanted to work to stop cyberbullying, is so proud of her husband on this!!!
wonder how many facelifts she's had??? maybe someone should make a couple up!!!

I am talking about the media - it's a melt down.
Seeing some of their faces, I have changed my mind - I am pleased Trump tweeted what he did. It's just too funny to see the expressions on the hosts faces.

Wrong...... the world is laughing at the MSM Fake News and the triggered libtards.

So if I get this right, a lot of you in this thread would prefer your information from POTUS filtered through the MSM? Is that so it will fit what you “want” it to mean instead of what POTUS actually meant? Until the MSM quits putting their spin on his words, I am quite comfortable with POTUS using twitter. Until the MSM realizes just because they don’t like an answer, they don’t get to ask the same question, ad nauseum, I am good without the on camera grand standing during daily WH briefings. ‘Fourth Estate”? More like the fourth arm of the far left Democrat party.

Beware the new MSM meme to defend their fake news...”Everybody misreports”. Funny, didn’t used to be that way and reporters busted for libel were held accountable...

Once again proving that the media doesn't just talk about Trump for no reason. Trump gives them something to talk about and then cries when they talk about it.
