Putin is guiding Russia AWAY from becoming the liberal overly PC nightmare that is crippling the government's of the West.

I know not to trust anything politicians say to us the sheeple. So does he. Which is why he has spies on the ground. To find out what's really going on.

I'm not defending his spying, but I can't say I blame him for not trusting a word coming out of western leaders mouths either.

All Putin's words are meant for domestic consumption, and the consumption of the fans.

Russia plays "the victim mantra" which is a distraction against the failed economy, the meddling in Ukraine and Georgia, the control of the press, the political and judicial corruption, the silencing and assassination of political opponents and journalists. Ultimately, a distraction against increasing autocracy.

20 years ago? 20 years ago things were MUCH better between the U.S. and Russia, In 1997 things were pretty decent. What do you think Russia is a joke??? They have a far more advanced weapons system than us...I posted links in this thread.
