Woah crazy case studies!

That one there, there's a slight chance that they were into some kind of Santeria. Santeria is a sort of variant of Voodoo. In Tampa its very popular apparently, as there are areas I can think of where about every 3 or 4 blocks there's "Botanica" shop in a little plaza. You might pull in thinking they have something to do with herbs & spices, but nope, its where the Santeria shop. All sorts of books on magic. Magical items. Spell kits that have various combinations of various dried plant materials in them. But this is no Harry Potter looking kind of store. Havent been in one forever now, so its even harder to describe. Kind of simple actually. If you couldnt read the labels on things, you'd almost have no chance of guessing what all the stuff, the stores themselves are even for. Every time I've been in one I couldn't figure out how they were even keeping the commercial rent paid (maybe a little black market money laundering via the black magic shop hehee).

So would the legal defense for those cases urge the jury to give leniency because they were CRIMES OF PASSION?!?!?!

C'mon, this is too much, people killing their own family members over chicken dinner?

WTF!

Giant Meteor!

population 4400 51% caucasian 35% african american. just a small quiet Georgia town been through there many times and
it's mostly good people of all races.

This isn't about race though its about the grown man hitting a 15 year old girl. no more, no less and that in itself is enough.

Chips & Salsa Paisanos Fight!!
[This is what happens when Paisanos charges you $5 for chips & Salsa and when they bring out the salsa they give you the red sauce instead of the green sauce!]

To be fair, hot pepper enthusiasts can often be hot heads. There's a hot pepper forum on the net that, with politics not even being part of the place, mostly just talking about growing and eating hot peppers, the hot head drama flame wars that often are found there with some of that lot really can leave you scratching your head.

He would not need to bring it up if the ethnicities were reversed. It would have been all over the news and media and social media nationally 24/7 for months. Only the dead would not know every detail of the matter.

That's actually untrue. I just logged into Facebook and scrolled down and saw the story being reported by both ABC and Fox.

So it's out there, it's not being hushed up for racial reasons.

Well I hate that crap if so, pretty damn sure the owner and daughter dont need the hassle and pretty damn sure the guy is wishing he would have just ate the cold chicken, though his partner seemed adamant on beating the hell out of somebody. and I'm pretty damn sure it's going to take a helluva lot more than glove that dont fit to get their azzes out of this one.

Despite groups like BLM trying to make the justice system and people out to be so bad in today's world, if this this had been 100 years ago he would be wishing for the police find him before to locals do. That punch to the young girl would go over much less than very bad.

Nope, not at all. Words should never be a reason to harm someone else, all I said is that I'd like to hear why they decided to start beating on them. Doesn't mean I'm going to excuse what they did but I don't think they started beating on them because their chicken was cold.

I believe words were exchanged and the woman said something that really pissed them off, that's not an excuse to give her or her daughter a black eye though.

Please, read through my posts in this thread before giving a knee-jerk response to something you didn't care to find the context of.

Maybe they should have taken the money and gone to another place.

At least 9 are listed link not including this one.

Carter's - multi star rating
KFC - the old chain
Village Pizza - pizza place and chicken, gotta wonder

Maybe every one else is tired of them and no service now

This.

Sad huh? Unfortunately you'll have the usual "I knew the race before I opened the thread" and much more demeaning racially comments now days on this site.

For shame.

Scummies will scumbag, no matter the race. Hope they do their jail time for hitting an older woman and a child, the damn cowards. Hitting a child is going to have people in jail/prison giving him a deserved hard time, let alone a record connected to that.

Scummies will be scummy, that is true.
But what they are willing to risk their freedom for says it all.
I think it's ironic: the race that screams about their ancestors not being free doesn't seem to value their own freedom at all.
Or maybe I'm just a racist. Or maybe me living in Jackson, Mississippi and seeing this stuff EVERYDAY has forced me to accept reality for what it is.
The problem is reality and political correctness coexist about as well as blacks and whites in the 21st century

If one thing rings true as a southern stereotype, it's don't f# with the fried chicken. Even my diminutive sister-in-law has been known to get quite testy over ill-prepared fried chicken. And has a penchant for going primal and driving like bat out of hell to get it in the first place (we'd worked to correct this over the years, it was really reckless & hyper-like at it's worst)
As far as the black people & fried chicken stereotype, it's mostly just that. Although, I've got stories about our old Church's & Popeyes joints back in Tampa...

On a serious note, these 2 are sacks of trash & they're going to get their asses kicked in prison, even criminals don't like people who hit kids.

BAXLEY, GA (WTOC) -
Baxley Police are still looking for a couple who attacked a restaurant owner and her 15-year-old daughter last Thursday - over a food order.

At this time, the video has nearly two million views on Facebook. Police tell us they're expanding their search for the two suspects beyond just Southeast Georgia, and a handful of outraged citizens are also putting their money together to offer a $2,000 reward for information that leads to their arrests.

"There are good people. There are still the bad ones, but the good ones are making up for it. We appreciate everybody who's come by,” said Jeanette Norris, the victim.

The assault, captured on surveillance video outside Baxley's Quik Chik stand, has people talking around the world. It shows a couple as the woman assaults the owner, then the man sucker punches the 15-year-old daughter. Tips led police to file warrants against Eric and LaTasha Smith, who live in Savannah. Police tell us they've enlisted the U.S. Marshals to help find the pair.

"They're willing to help us, which is great because they have people in places we can't go and they have resources we don't have," said Chief James Godfrey, Baxley Police Department.

The glimmer of hope in that video is the kindness of strangers helping the 15-year-old girl.

"I got a big heart. And I was raised right. And I hope and pray that if it was mine, somebody would do the same,” said Pamela Parker, who witnessed the attack and tried to comfort the victims.

If you see the Smith's or know anything about their whereabouts, call Baxley PD at 912.367.8305 or your local law enforcement office.
