I don't know..I like the silly girl part of me.
Give me a pretty dress and I still twirl .
That doesn't mean anything.
The money managing part a pop star career kind of belies any managerial short comings.
So does the day to day work.
They have to hire managers, personal assistants, accountants, musicians.
Audition back up singers, dancers.
I bet it's not as frivolous and easy as it appears.

Not to mention there is always a market in the young teenage girl. Gold mine...

I understand what the distinction between Katy and Katherine is. Katy is the public persona she has to maintain so regularly that letting Katherine out is how she describes being able to let her Katy Perry facade slip, and just truly be her relaxed and comfortable self. Her true identity, not the one she has to market to the world.
Really, it must be a great relief for her when she can do this. It seems too easy to get lost in the public persona and lose your sense of self.
