Well,
I was always told the louder one yells, the more guilty they are. It appears the Sanders' have lawyered up after the FBI opened a probe into a $10 million loan was allegedly improperly applied for. More swamp drainage at work?

Sorry, completely off topic. Lakenheath? As in Lakenheath England? If so sweet, the place where I was born.

Seems like Bernie used his political influence to help his wife's college get a loan. That actually happens a lot in the real world. His wife was not alone in this, she was working with the board of the college. They also approved the purchase. Who brought this bad deal up to the school anyway, buying something they really didn't need is something all colleges and schools should be concerned about. But many schools do the same thing, spend money on things they do not need.

No wonder Bernie hates banks. Well no ones perfect.

Though I doubt Bernie would open up a FAKE UNIVERSITY

He might as well, since he will never be president.

1. It is an allegation that has not even been investigated yet.
2. There are people gunning for him and their impugning him would be an expected tactic.
3. If you are being investigated by the FBI, it is prudent to get legal representation, regardless of guilt or innocence.

Similar accusations could be brought against Trump as being involved with organised crime:

He made hundreds of millions of dollars in owning and running casinos.

He is currently linked to 10 alleged Russian mobsters, arrested recently by the FBI, with some of them already being convicted.

Yeah but from what I am understanding she falsified financial information in order to obtain the loan.

This was not an indictment of him as the topic title was posed as a question. Since he is such and avid socialist, could this tactic be what his financial policies would look like?

Yes, supposedly she misrepresented the college's donation rates. I assume this means she told the bank the college received more donation money than it actually does (ie, has a higher income).

She could be in trouble, if this is true. Bernie will probably be fine, but his presidential aspirations are toast if his wife goes to jail for loan fraud.
