The ATS Hot Seat

It's just an idea I'll throw around. If it floats, it floats. If it sinks, it sinks. I don't know if this was suggested or done before, I tried to search the archives and I couldn't find anything... maybe I didn't search hard enough?

Anyways, it's been months since we had a guest here at ATS for a round of Ask Me Anything, maybe we can have a version of it among members? A chance to know more about each other and have a bit of fun within the site's T&C of course. From friendly banter to silly questions, running inside jokes to probing personal questions that one can choose to answer or not.

Maybe we can start with the head honchos, the mods and then the veteran members? We can also randomly select a newbie to traumatize with Guantanamo-style interrogation as an initiation.

What do you think?

That sounds like a good idea. There are so many questions I have for some of the members.

It would be interesting if there was a lottery you put your own name in and a random pic comes out. And boom that member is open for dissection.

I like the idea but I would think it could/would be abused. We have a lot of great members but the trolls are here. I guess I would need to see the guidelines which done exist. Interesting at least.

One rule could be your questions are only allowed to be serious up to 50%?

My ATS DREAM is video of the mighty Gortex!! On the Road with Gortex. Only thing better would be a real life pub crawl.

I'm not sure what is being suggested here, but ATS does not allow "Ask Me Anything" threads, other than those officially started by ATS Owners.

The first question I would ask a handful of members here is... "In your opinion, why does 2+2 = 5?"

We already have the Softball thread.
I don't see a need to duplicate the effort.

The AMA series have traditionally been people of interest to ATS....people famous in Ufology and the like.
