Steam Summer Sale Kicks Off

Some good deals to be had now through July 5th.

Picked up Fallout 4 for 15 bucks (Season pass is still $29). The Witcher 3 for $25. Shadow of Mordor for $4 !! 7 Days 2 Die for $10.

That's just to name a few of my watched games. Way too many to list and I thought I'd share. Happy hunting!

Good set of games. If you dont have the Dark Souls set , now is a good time to get them . My problem , I have to get most of my games Day1 release.

I really want to. I've no idea which one to start at. I've heard the first one is fairly unplayable on PC.

A chunk of my wishlist is on sale. I was hoping Rimworld would go, but it's still pre-release.

WARNING : The Dark Souls Trilogy is not for the faint of heart or those with hypertension.
Unplayable only to those that feel they have to be a god in every game.

They changed the name on the first one from Dark Souls to Dark Souls Prepare to Die Edition for a reason
Actually Shadows of Mordor is on par with Dark Souls. Dying is not a bad thing in Shadows. In fact , it adds to the game.So does Dark Souls.

Remember that last line or you will become frustrated with either unto the point of stopping play . I almost did , until I read the part about dying not being a bad thing

I'm kind of disappointed that some of the games I was hoping would be on sale aren't on sale. For example, the Friday the 13th video game. Not sure how often we'd play it, but my wife and I are interested in that one. From what I read on the Steam forums as well, the game is losing players decently fast, so I'm surprised they didn't put it on sale to help boost the playerbase.

I may end up getting Nier Automata, that game looks like a lot of fun.

I'll see how I get through Shadows. Between that and F04 and The third witcher, I should have the whole year wrapped up. Not to mention 7d2d is about to release a new alpha.

Dragon's Dogma . Good game as well . A little clunky , but the pawn idea worked out good. And more focused on bosses and not mobs
Witcher 3 GOTY Edition will take most of the year , if you are anywhere near a "completionist"

If anyone is interested in Shadows of Mordor, I highly recommend go here, rather than buying it on Steam.

It's only $4.99 for the game and all of the DLC. I've bought a couple of games from them so far and had no issues. They give Steam keys, too, so if you're going to get this one, make sure to get the most bang for your buck.

Have you checked out Alpha 16 experimental? It's totally kicking my ass with the new wolves and vultures! Plus the new POI's are awesome! It can take you a day or 2 just to loot one of them!
