LOS ANGELES — Stephen Furst, who played naive fraternity pledge Flounder in the hit movie "Animal House," has died of complications from diabetes, his family said Saturday. Furst was 63.

AZCentral.com - Actor Stephan Furst, lovable Flounder in 'Animal House,' has died at 63.

Flounder?! Why 'Flounder'?

A couple days late but only found out yesterday. No thread so...

More of the past fades away. So does my childhood.

I guess I'll be facing it too.

Where did the time go??

Warm memories to all that still love Dorfaman!!

Yeah where does it go, life? I can't believe so much time has gotten by. Animal House, still seems like it was just a few years ago. And Belushi, I just can't believe he's been dead for 35 years. Damn, I'm in good shape, I work out and eat good, but I'm almost as old as these guys. Just makes it seem real.

Vir, Londo Mollari's hapless sidekick. That's two in twenty four hours for me. Not good. R.I.P Mr Furst.

Babylon 5 caused a rift in the space geekosystem. I was on the side that loved it, many did not.

You at least know the name! He was also on St. Elsewhere which I had forgotten (did not watch it that much)

Babylon 5 had to compete with TNG which was coming into it's own about the same time. Some gave up on TNG to focus on Babylon 5, some tried watching both (I did for a while), others were die-hard Trekkies that would only watch Captain Kirk, original series. Yeah, big rift! I ended up reverting back to TNG and Deep Space Nine. Enjoyed it but when you miss a couple episodes you can end up left out. One day, I'll catch up and do a binge watch!

to the geekosystem!
