Ran into a guy last year who worked for BAE, he didn't have an aviation background but was privy to a lot of information on it. Seems there is ongoing testing of it, and its capabilities and performance are much greater than you would suspect.

did you ever build or test a rather large aircraft or flying wing (could be a drone) that flew completely silent at a low altitude and was almost completely invisible in the clear night sky? Seen one fly over once (southern Adelaide) and I only noticed because it blocked the stars as it moved overhead and for a split second some ground light reflected off the flap support fairings.

Yes they do/have. I saw one in 1999...Southern Adelaide, flew directly overhead, silent, slow, just above tree tops.

Tell us about your sighting.......go to the Black Triangle threads and tell us all about it.

Many, Many people have seen these all over the "Western" World, generally with an Air Force base near. As you know..Edinburgh is an Experimental RAAF base and not far away.....not to mention the secret DSTO underground labs.

They are bold...the general concensus is, they are "ours".

I never actually worked on anything in that particular configuration.

It would be nice to know that we are not dealing with good photoshopping.

or you could read the article linked and see the military has given a report to the media about what it was.

Also I suspect that an explosion that far away would probably not be something that one could feel.

On a flat lake bed like that its certainly reasonable to think you would feel the effects of the explosion
