Watch live & heal a little: The Congressional Baseball Game for Charity

I don't even like baseball...but, given all of the political ugliness recently, I have to say there is something kind of healing seeing R's & D's together on the ball field for charity and in tribute to their critically-wounded friend Rep. Scalise.

It's kind of a beautiful thing to see our representatives coming together in a setting such as this...and it might serve all of us well to just look in and watch...if only for a minute or two.

It's nice to see them come together, but we're talking about congress here.

This will be the only time this year that they'll risk their "balls" and avoid "strikes".

Till then, these politicians are lucky...
If they can treat the ones who fight for their right to play a crappy pandering game of baseball like that, they can do it to anyone.

Also absolutely correct. The media portrayal is a complete facade. The whole structure of R and D is an illusion.

(Maybe that's not such a good idea...I'm yawning just trying to think of anyone interesting enough to watch wallowing in the mud.)
