There's a plan I have on my mind and it's far too personal to let out but the non-personal summary is I wish to be reborn with a set of modifications I want personally done in this reborn world but I would never know I had done this prior and my memory would have been wiped out from me knowing. So basically I want to re-live this world I am in now but with a set of unique and personal modifications added to make it ideal enough for me. Kind of like turning life into some script of code and editing out.

Can perhaps meditation achieve something close to this or giving me a feeling of being reborn? I have been looking through so many thing around the Law of Attraction but overall it seems like pseudoscience to me.

Nah.... impossible.
best you can do is get bit of hypnotherapy and moving somewhere, where locals don't speak your language.

Well maybe but only sort of..... Science is getting very close to being able to download a brain into a computer. Once your personality becomes code, you can edit it however you want. But finding a lucid, mobile and experiential vessel to upload your reset you into might be a lot more tricky.

As for meditation, I have been experimenting with it. And you can achieve some things, like letting go of the parts of your life you find hurtful. But going back and resetting then starting over..... If you find out how, let me know. I'd love to do the same, except I would want to remember. So I never make the same mistakes I made in this life again. (There's a lot of them)

Thank you for the response. I am glad to get a response like this so early. Yes I am trying to meditate deeply but it just never goes anywhere. I focus on my breathing and my mind just won't shut up. I am trying to lose the concept of time and just have all everything around me feel like one, moving at the pace of my breath. This is tough to do. I have never gone far in this subject aside from involuntary/temporary astral projection which only lasted a couple of seconds relatively speaking and it didn't feel much of like anything aside from me being able to move my body in some other part of my town nearby which itself resolved when I was induced into a sleep-paralysis like state that lasted for a short couple of seconds before I awoke.

Have a look at thread below that I posted not long ago.

www.abovetopsecret.com...

I linked some music that I have been using when falling to sleep. I have indeed been lucid dreaming since using it, plus some other changes I have been noticing. That is only one example of what I listen to - every night I use a different track.

I too find it difficult to quiet the mind, but when I am tired this music really helps.

Something like MIndfulness Meditation is probably your best bet.

It's your choice to entertain these thoughts. Do you understand why you think like this? Perhaps do you consider yourself insane? If so, then stop entertaining beyond reality thoughts and start living your life. Actually, stop looking for what is not really there. Theoretically speaking, it may be out there. But the facts remains true that Physical reality is where we reside and not the Spiritual or Ethereal Realm. Wait for your time to reside on the other Realm and try to work it out where you are right now.
Based on Personal Experience, this path only make you lose more than gain. Perhaps you'd be wiser this time, you chose to be born to experience the World and not waste it. Perhaps spend your lifetime wisely while you're at it.

I use music as well. It's effective, I agree. But sometimes that in itself can be hard to concentrate off of for me. However, it comes to me that it's hard to do because I have other people around me and I don't want them to catch me listening to something, especially my mother who has taken things I do very wrongly(she mistook random ads on my PC for pornographic material for one).

The thing with being 'reborn' is that you first have to die. You have to die to the belief that you are a person in time. You will find that you were never born and will never die when you discover what you really are.

Interesting. I always had a feeling sometimes we are just repeating our lives over and over again.

Also, on another note, I noticed many other problems with my meditation. My eyes feel heavy and that they are about to open. This prevents me from successfully meditating/astral travelling. Removing the pillow, blankets, and anything surfacing me was a good idea to let my physical body relax and the music helps certainly as well but my eyes are so heavy, it feels like my eyeballs are weighing themselves down deep into my sockets. I can also feel the center of my forehead concentrate as if a "third eye" is opening but really it's nothing but stress being weighed down onto my forehead region and thus putting even more weight on my eyes. Does anyone know a way around this?

BS...Science is not anywhere near close to "Downloading" your brain.

And ponder this while we are on this technological snake oil pseudo religion known as transhumanism. If this was possible and your brain is "Downloaded" all you did is create a copy of your mind, because how do we actually transfer consciousness when we do not even know what consciousness is?

All you did was clone your thoughts. Our thoughts and memories are not consciousness but a process of consciousness.

Lets further this hypothetical pipe dream with your "once your brain is code" and what a wonderful upgrade you did will be like shall we...?

Once your brain is code now Hackers or any 2-bit(pun intended) script kiddie could also edit your "Brain Code" changing your memories, erasing them, or copying you perfectly so that you are no longer unique! They could potentially control your personality, your characteristics or use your new synthetic body to instigate crimes...

You know how you have to keep eating cause the flesh is weak? Well in your new digital form you'll eat no longer, (hallelujah! Praise Robot Jesus) but wait you still consume energy of some form. So electrical who is paying for your fueling? Who is going to replace your hard drive, your memory, your digital self needs to reside somewhere, who is replacing your synthetic limbs? What do you do when you run out of memory? Run out of data storage? Keep chasing a nightmare of an over expensive commercialization digital ugrade rabbit...

You are now also susceptible to computer virus' oh yeah you get a digital cold for your code! Your computer mind can have something known as data degradation basically loss of data or Alzheimer's. What happens if you have a recursive glitch and you keep reliving the same memory for eternity what kind of hell would that be?

So much for your amazingly Perfect Digital utopian upgrade, sounds more like a new age techno nightmare!

As a Computer scientist in the IT industry for nearly 2 decades, I am just as tired of this as I am with any other sort of ascension nonsense!

The code was just a comparison. I am looking for more of a spiritual guidance.

No worries I just like to rant against Transhumanism (in the digital form)

Here is something to think about. You create your reality with how you respond, react or experience your thoughts involving your environment and things and people you interact with. Every day is a new day to change how you do this unlearn what you have learned, reprogram yourself and be the master of your sea at your sail of life.

Have you written out what you wish to accomplish? A truly "born-again" experience I do not think is possible as it is a process and we are the sum of our experiences. But true internal change, thought processing and living in the moment type experiences are very possible.

Although I am curious of why you want to be a tabula rasa? Personally I love to see the growth in myself and change takes time no quick fixes other than a change of mindset...I wish you a great journey

Consider taking a look into self help and positive mindset kind of books. The authors usually have some good tools to try using towards helping achieve your goals. One that comes to mind is The Master Key System, by Charles Haanel for example.

Create a clear idea of the goals you are working towards and what you are trying to manifest.Big changes can seem very challenging, but breaking them down into smaller steps will make it more realistic.Another area to consider is investigating self hypnosis.I found Passion,Profit, and Power by Marshall Sylver quite inspiring as well. These areas may not appear directly related to your spiritual pursuits, though the structure they encourage when it comes setting and achieving goals can be a time saver.

Self healing is important too, when it comes to manifesting.Examine areas of the past that may have been painful and practice trying to heal there.Past traumas can interfere with the goals we have for ourselves by interfering with the flow and focus of one's energy.
