What was the Venetian political intelligence method? The classical Venetian predicament is that of the weaker power attempting to play off two or more major empires. This was the case when the Venetian power was in its very infancy, and survival depended upon playing off the Langobard Kingdom of Italy against the Byzantines. This ploy was later replaced by the attempt to play the Byzantines off against the Carolingian Empire in the West, an attempt that almost misfired when the army of Charlemagne under Pippin laid siege to Venice inside its lagoons. That siege, however, was not successful.
The Merovingians (/ˌmɛroʊˈvɪndʒiən/) were a Salian Frankish dynasty that ruled the Franks for nearly 300 years in a region known as Francia in Latin, beginning in the middle of the 5th century. Their territory largely corresponded to ancient Gaul as well as the Roman provinces of Raetia, Germania Superior and the southern part of Germania. The Merovingian dynasty was founded by Childeric I (c. 457 – 481), the son of Merovech, leader of the Salian Franks, but it was his famous son Clovis I (481–511) who united all of Gaul under Merovingian rule.

Hear hear.
I think we need another colour of pill. The red and blue pills seem to have been injected with some partisan inducing coma/madness/blindness and outright insanity inducing weird attitudes for a conspiracy website.

From what I have seen since I have returned to ATS, everyone with exception to a handful of us, who view things in such a light have gone. ATS has basically turned into a mainstream political discussion board.
Hi Hillary,
I am back from the unpredictable and exciting elections in Britain.
Congratulations on all the good things you are doing at State.
You have so many fans from Manmohan Singh, who smiled broadly when we talked about you, to those women who
never stop dreaming.
I would love to catch up. I have to be in DC from the 12th-15th May, in case you have any time to sneak away for a few
minutes.
I understand it may not be possible, but thought I would check.
In any event, I remain your loyal adoring pal.

I don't know. It's all about the blood.
You have to have the right genetics and they use secret society's and banks to run everything.

I wonder if you could use ancestry.com for someone else's bloodline. Would that be an invasion of privacy?
