When things in math start to click is when it become interesting and fun!

I had a pre-calculus test where we had to find the area of a half circle between -π/2 and π/2 (basically setting up an integral correctly). Well Mr. Smart@ss here, took the radius of the circle, calculated the area for the whole circle, π*r^2, cut that In half, and wrote down the answer! I was the only one to get it right! So when asked how I solved the problem, I sheepishly explained how I did it. My teacher was amused! She said, "Next time I won't use a circle!" She then explained that the area under the curve is what integration is and that while I got the answer the set up of the problem was what was being tested. I got to keep the points!

It's been downhill ever since!

That reminds me of an old joke from many moons ago:

A redneck family's only son returns home from college. The father asks, "Well son, you done gone to college, so you must be perty smart. Why don't you speak some math fer' us?"

The son says, "Pi R squared."

That was an interesting job. LOL I second guessed my decision on taking the job on my first day when I found myself holding a strange girls hair in the women's bathroom while she violently puked as 2 Police officers were questioning her boyfriend just outside the stall.

I was thinking "I didn't sign up for this . . ." Haha

LOL, that's fantastic. Haha An individual of excellent taste I see! I enjoy a Redbull now and gain myself. Currently I am drinking this strange citrus tea concoction my fiancée brought home from the store. Lemon-Lime Tea. It taste of instant tea mix, lemon and I could barely taste the lime so fortunately there was one in the fridge that I cut open and squeezed into the glass, and now all I taste is instant tea mix and lime, which is an improvement so I won't complain.

Fun username makes me think of a game my son used to play about 2 years ago,some medieval set up and you could kick chickens.We had fun with that,nice to let go and be childish sometimes He's since moved on to GTA+war+zombie games.Welcome to ATS

The kicking of Chickens??? Blasphemous! it's been years since I've played GTA! I use to play a war game called Special Forces a couple of years back but then I found League of Legends. SF2 like LoL is skill based, but I find LoL to be more so than the former.

SF2 has a Zombie mode and each level gets more difficult with more and more hordes of Zombies attacking you, which is fun for the first 10 times, then after that it's like "meh". Haha
