19 of 52 Republican Senators would need to agree with all Democrats. That would require something really significant

The 2018 election is really significant. Democratic candidates will run negative ads linking sitting Republicans to Trump's failures and scandals. There is a very good chance that the GOP will lose both the House and Senate, at which point the Democrats won't impeach Trump, but rather allow him to flounder so they can exploit his unpopularity in 2020.

That is indeed the strategy and the entire purpose of manufactured scandals.

Unfortunately for Republicans, it is Trump himself who is manufacturing these scandals. No-one forced him to hint that he has secret recordings. No-one is forcing him to have the Secret Service pay his company to stay at his hotels. No one is forcing him to make bizarre tweets at 3AM.

You are right...no one is forcing him to do that.
Also nobody is forcing the deranged Leftists to cry about every one of them either, you guys just do it naturally.

I know! Calling out criminal, unconstitutional behavior is deranged, right?

Access to information? Try the law.

What ?
The law does not contain information on what someone did or did not do , it is a framework used to denote if a person should or should not be brought before the courts.

If there has been wrong doing investigation will bring the case the law will merely give the judgement if a case is brought.

IKR?

We had George Washington who couldn't tell a lie about a cherry tree.
We had Lincoln AKA honest Abe.
We had honorably man after honorable man on both sides.
And then there's trump...

The law makes it clear what is a crime and what is not. Trump exerting his constitutional powers is not a crime as no law has been broken. Therefore no investigation is warranted or needed.

POTUS has an unilateral right to direct and kill investigations. Sorry. The story ends there.

So does trumps political career if he does.
Rock meet hard place.

Trump is a liar.

Dream on...keep living in your Leftist fantasy land.
I am so happy we got Trump lying to us instead of Hillary lying to us lol.

POTUS also has a right to fire all the AGs to fill the position with people he wants. Barara was the only one to resist. It sort of clouds his words now.

You said Trump had committed no crime so I asked if you have access to information we don't , you said the law ... that is not information to base your assertion on.

The investigations are not about Trump exerting his constitutional powers they are about Trump possibly exceeding his constitutional powers and in doing so breaking the law.

You can say no investigation is warranted or needed as much as you like but that doesn't change the fact investigations are ongoing.

There is no law broken.
You are confusing impeachment hearings which require no law to be broken, with a criminal investigation of obstruction of justice.
The abuse of constitutional powers is handled by the impeachment process.
Once again the President broke no law.

What makes you so certain no law has been broken?
I think his political career is in its death throes.
He's gone gone gone.

Because the President has acted within his authority vested in him by the Constitution.

Trump is a liar.

He wants this to go away. He'd use executive power to end this if he didn't think it would hurt him in the long run. But knowing how he runs face first into trouble maybe he would anyway.

Either way it's bad for him.
lol, be quiet you.

This post sums up just how much lefties are delusional. Read this post again and think REAL hard...

How did he lie?

I'm beginning to think this poster has an agenda, possible paid, but an agenda, WITH ALL DUE RESPECT, nobody is THAT dumb.
