I think it's a prototype submersable troop transport. I've seen something onm it on the history channel, I just don't remember exactly what it was. It might also have been a stealth battleship/destroyer.

Oy..then again, it may have been in a Bond movie...I think I need some sleep.

Judging by the first response, I saw it in a bond movie. I must have looked up the concept or something, because I know more about the concept than Hollywood tends to put forward in its movies. Ah well, win some, lose some

Looks like the stealth boat/ship from 'tommorow never dies'
maybe they made a normal boat and painted it black, who knows?...... not me

It is a technical demonstator built by Lockheed Martin called Sea Shadow and yes it was used as the basis for the vessel in the bond movie. (exterior shots only)

Phew! So I may have seen it on both! Now I don't feel so delusional.

In 1993 the US Navy de-classified and disclosed publicly its A-Frame SWATH vessel known as the IX-529 'Sea Shadow' built by Lockheed Martin. The photo above shows the 'stealth' vessel in San Francisco Bay underway at dusk to participate in events associated with Fleet Battle Experiment-Echo

Know what I find most amazing about that? That with all the people intersting in conspiracies, even scanning publically available satellite photos of secret locations or usung nightscopes to photgraph super ships at desert bases or even looking at their 20 dollar bills for conspiracies, there here is an actual top secret stealth boat in San Francisco bay and the first time it gets brought up here is when its already made public.

Not say there are no secret projects that people catch on to, just a sort of 'wtf ' moment.

Actually, Nygdan, a UFO revealed the existence of the Lockmart craft to me -- way back in 1973, but no one could find it because of the "chem-trail" cloud cover.

A typical story from a typical illuminati reptilloid shape shifting materials scientist!

the movie
James Bond - Tommorow Never Dies, it has a ship just like this. In the movie it can be picked up via radar, so im guessing stealth

Designing stealth boats is not as easy as planes, the tend to roll around, so all your nice angled sides suddenly reflect perfectly. The trick is to optimise the design to minimise this effect. Stealth ships work by reducing the signature enough that by the time you see them you are within weapons range and about to have a very bad day!!!
