Wonder Woman is a crappy "super hero".

At-least with regards to this latest movie version.

Shes essentially a large broad with quick reflexes and a shield and bracelets which can be used to ricochet bullets.

Still not sure how she was able to deflect the RPG without it first exploding on impact with her shield but whatever.

If she gets hit with a bullet, shes dead.

Batman is a regular dude too but at-least hes got cool contraptions and runs around at night scaring the crap out of people.


And what does this say about the Germans with regards to these super hero movies?

Because they always seem to be fighting the Germans.

That the Germans were so incredibly BAD A$$, that without the help of a super hero, they would have clobbered everyone?

So was Ironman but the first movie was awesome and kicked off the MCU. Wonder Woman movie is awesome, which is a god damn milestone for DC these days.

Well if you want to get technical,
iron man would be a puddle in his super suit after taking the g force he takes in battle.
Superman could lift a building but would sink to his armpits because of the surface pressure under his feet.
Batman would rip his arm off catching the falling girl with his rope.
Etc.
Etc.
Etc.

Super hero movies are not exactly documentaries.

I really dont care for super hero movies in general. There were a couple batman movies that were solid, but superhero movies are like the gmo processed food of film.

Give me some well written scifi any day.

They are all fighting Germans? I assume you mean her and Cpt America? Well, they are depicted as such because when they were originally made, that was the primary antagonist and the comic industry was helping support the war effort in WWII as well as being supported by it. And since they made super heroes fighting against the Germans, they made super villains fighting for them (i.e. ~ Red Skull, and Baroness von Gunther).

It's comic books, so no reason to get too technical.

Still... Ironman has advanced technology within the suit that prevents him from getting liquefied based on repulsor and some kind of anti-gravity technology. This is the reason he isn't also shattered when getting hit by someone like Thor or Hulk; even if the suit wasn't damaged that energy should still transfer to him inside, but he actually has some kind of buffer system. In the ultimate universe I believe they actually show some kind of goo within the suit that helps him out in this regard.

As for superman sinking into the ground; he wouldn't for the same reason that the building doesn't just fall apart and crumble when he picks it up, he possesses some kind of tactile force field that surrounds him and extends to what he is touching. A building wouldn't just keep its shape if it was picked up out of the ground and used as a baseball bat or something. Plus, the guy can fly, so he wouldn't even have to put all the weight onto the ground.

As for Batman... well... he's Batman. He can do anything or beat anyone.

in regards to the Germans I am always amused as to how they always remain bad, while Captain America wakes up from the 40's and finds a black dude(fury) in his room giving orders and doesnt go "whats this ****** doing in my room giving me lip"?

Actually, Hollywood just needs to go; about the only way to sanitize the PC out of the movie industry. And the writing! Its absolutely horrible. Guess the talent has gone to Netflix, and Amazon studios. That's all we watch these days. Hollyweird has essentially become a niche film maker, and its niche doesn't extend much outside the Left Coast and the East Coast.

Her being an actual God in this movie makes her a lame superhero? Ok.
