“In the main, it was not true,” former FBI Director James Comey told Congress on Thursday.

He was talking about a February 14 New York Times report titled, “Trump Campaign Aides Had Repeated Contacts With Russian Intelligence.”

Risch told Comey: “So the American people can understand this, that report by the New York Times was not true. Is that a fair statement?”

“In the main – it was not true,” Comey said

He even posted in that thread. I don't understand how this could have happened unless he just didn't read the other OP and responded to it anyways.

We do allow a topic to be posted in a regular thread....and also in a Mud Pit thread.

One is for civil debate....the other is for muddiness.

This is good because individuals can now see that things aren't as they appear.

This will make them question many other things as well.

In fact, I would wager that some members even used that as a source.
