Crazy exit poll results. I'm actually starting to get worried about that 'coalition of chaos'.
And I have egg on my face!

I'd be utterly gobsmacked if the actual results are the same as the exit polls.

its pretty close and if the exit poll is right and labour gain 30 seats i think its fair to say Corbyn has done well

I think there's always a 2-3% who basically lie to the pollsters and end up voting Conservative. Shy Conservatives I think they're called in current parlance. Probably a tory majority tonight but not one that would've been worth calling an election for. Makes governing the UK problematice, House of Lords will be awkward if there's a small Tory majority in the Commons, Brexit will be hugely problematic.

I see the pound is on the slide already.

So conservatives lost 17 seats and Labour gained 34... so how realistic is it that Labour might gain more to take the pole position before the night is out ?

Its just a guess right now, based on an opinion poll , not the vote counts.

Labour Majority is 20/1 on Bet 365

Okay thanks.

But I guess it might be a real possibility that the tories won't end up with a majority government which will be a nightmare for them trying to push through anything.

Interesting thus far !

It's an exit poll so It's more indicative than an opinion pole , poor Theresa.

So I'm curious....

Do you guys think May's loss of seats was all because of her lack of action with regards to Brexit ?

It's an exit poll (so they ask people who they voted for in key seats after they leave the polling stations).
I can't see Labour getting a majority at all but Labour don't need a majority for Jeremy Corbyn to become Prime Minister.

I've never met anyone who has been polled after voting.

Has anyone?

Maybe.

It's an upside down world these days.

Gotta love Johnny Pie. Even as a parody, he has a better insight than 90% of real political correspondents.

Still a best guess though.

I have never told anyone how I voted outside the polling station, some people lie, only way to be sure is to wait.

In the U.K. they're notoriously unreliable. Last time they bared almost no resemblance to the actual result. It was really quite remarkable.

With this whole Brexit thing, up is down and down is up, no doubt about it.

It seems to be the subject of "make it or break it" for each individual mp and their party leaders.

I think May's poor performance, if true, should be put down to the evil, vindictive policies she has overseen as both Home Secretary and Prime Minister.

I honestly can't see these polls being accurate....but who knows?

Who would form a coalition with The Tories?
