Getting really annoyed with people posting videos with no description.

"Must watch..."

Or a rubbish brief description.

ATS when are you going to start doing something about this?

FFS it is really ripping me off.

Pretty much exactly what I am doing right now. Except quietly so I don't get sacked.

Accurate thread titles would be nice also. Some people make a title which has claims not supported by the material.

Know it won't change but I can dream.

You could ask something like, "Can you expand on this? I don't think you have explained sufficiently. "

Or you could post a vague thread about how some people make you irrationally angry.

Personally, it's good to know that you get irrationally angry when faced with a tiny amount of inconvenience. Thanks for the heads-up.

It's the rules of the site. People shouldn't have to ask that question in a third of the posts. It's like going to work and having to ask people to do their job, instead of those people showing up and working, the purpose of being there.

When your video contains '100% verified proof!!!!' you don't need no stinkin description.

I do, regularly... Almost too regularly that I am worried I sound like a twit.

Angry? You haven't seen the half of it pal.

You got any dogs?

I second this. I'm wanting members to post quality paragraphs at minimum with the videos.

Stop being a whining victim. Just ignore what you don't like.

So... let me ask you a question.

Did you alert the moderators to the situation, every time you saw this happen? I know it seems a stupid question, but the reality is that most people who complain about this sort of thing, really have made NO effort to actually contact the moderators, to tell them about the problem that they have come across. Its just straight to a thread like this. Now, if you DID alert the moderators, and they have not acted, perhaps you might have a word with a specific moderator, via U2U, and ask about why the decision has been made to leave a thread in place.

But the first and most important move to make, is to actually use the alert function, explaining what was wrong with the threads OP.

Without doing so, the moderators have nothing to work with, no information. There are not enough of them to discover all the BS threads without our help.

When you see a thread that doesn't meet minimum requirements, you should be using the alert function so the mods will know to look at the post content. It's frustrating, but if you're not reporting it, they may not see it.

Yes, yes and yes.

We remove threads regularly for minimum OP's.

is this an accurate example ?

You are a sly one...

I remember watching this movie at work (fire dept circa 1985) getting up, walking to the door, and yelling as loud as I could...

"I'M MAD AS HELL AND I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS ANYMORE!"

(and disappointed not hearing anyone else in earshot doing the same.:lol

Didn't really seem to phase anyone in the room. other than a few grins, odd behavior among firemen is pretty much the norm.
THANKS FOR SHARING

You recently used the complaint form.
