CNN Responds To Claims They Staged A Muslim Anti-Terror Protest

CNN has responded to claims that a leaked video shows them fabricating a Muslim-led anti-terror protest after the London attacks, calling the allegations “nonsense.”

The video has been circulating around social media and shows CNN reporter Becky Anderson standing by while her crew organizes and directs a group of Muslim protesters holding anti-terror signs.

This video is unbelievable,

it looks like CNN has set up a small set to get a group of Muslims together and pretend that there is a Muslim protest going on, it's all choreographed so well, everything is made to seem spontaneous but it's not

I have to say that it's getting a bit out of control to see mainstream media create narratives these days, it has gotten progressively worse and worse and they have become so bold and so anti-western. The left won't even care about this video, even if it isn't entirely nefarious it is disingenuous.

The video represents the very definition of 'staging'.

Anyway the police allowed those demonstrators already there to do this. It's pretty common with the media. And why are they so unconcerned about someone videoing this?

Would it also not be possible that there were Muslims there protesting, and CNN just wanted to "organize them better" for TV presentation?

While I will not generally jump to a conclusion that supports CNN and its news telling, I will say that my experience working in newspaper photography for a short while does dictate that sometimes you have people who are already doing something (i.e.: Protesting) move to better positions and whatever in order to have a better background or better grouping of people in a shot. Most groups are willing to accommodate because they want the exposure.

This COULD BE what is going on here, although I think that the possibility that it's stages is equal.

Sure, Andy, in the strict-sense of the wording, it does.

However; In the context of this, it was being used as "completely fake". IE, hired actors paid to fake a protest.

Let's not be intellectually dishonest.

Everything in the video is put there on purpose; cute 2 year old kid, lots of women wearing pink (so you'll know the Islamic feminists), nicely scribbled signs to give them authenticity....

There were no actual protests for CNN to cover then?

On a different note, I saw only 14 people placing flowers on that spot for this "vigil". They all looked to be dressed in traditional Muslim attire (I apologize of that is the wrong description). So of the thousands upon thousands of "moderate" Muslims we hear that denounce this type of action, only about a dozen show up to pay respects?

Not a very big turnout IMO. What is that less than 0.0007% of the population that supposedly do not agree with the terrorists or support them in any way?

If CNN is telling the truth, why was everything set up BEFORE the "protesters" were let through? Why did they want to be let through?
