The tread is simply about liberals (modern) rioting to remove the freedom of the conservative speaker and the fact that it is really difficult to find a conservative (group) doing the same thing.

Brain being small/ATS effecting my personal life is kinda personal too.

My point is, does Bundy go to colleges and riot to keep liberal speakers from speaking? No Bundy doesn't. Of course he is doing what ever you are going on about.

I am a mechanic by trade and that means a very thick skin and a different (some would say stupid) sense of humor.

It's odd to me how obsessed with college campuses "conservatives" are — as though college campuses are a reasonable proxy for the whole nation, as though the behavior of a couple hundred college kids reflects on tens of millions of other people.

Since college campuses do not represent 100% of everything, we should just not give a damn about what goes on in these places where young minds are molded to take over the future.

Which one might presume that you are insinuating that: Since the future belongs to other generations and won't effect us then why should we care?


Eta i looked it up and at any given time 15 to 20 million students are enrolled in college in the US, so.. about 5 to 7% of the population? In addition, nearly 40% of adults in the US currently hold a college degree.

So, i guess our best estimate is that: The things that are happening in our institutions of higher learning have the potential to have an effect on +/- 40% of the population.

I guess that would be up to each person individually if they think that we should care about what is happening to 5%-7% of the population each year, averaging out to 40% of the adults as these generations age.
