FBI agents raided a Michigan home Thursday night in an operation described as a matter of national security.

The operation took place in Dearborn and the scene was cleared before midnight, Fox 2 reported.

The operation stemmed from an incident that occurred out of state, the Detroit Free Press added, reporting that investigators tracked the suspects to the area. Law enforcement officials from multiple regions were on the scene.

Michigan home raided by FBI in operation described as national security issue

The FBI is being very quiet on this developing story. The only information so far comes from local news affiliate "Fox 2" who has a reporter on scene. She interviewed some of the residents in the area, and all she has heard for far is:

- It is a National Security issue
- FBI agents removed many boxes of stuff from the home
- The residents moved in only a month ago
- Residents are a couple with children, and two elderly family members
- Residents were from Lebanon
- Residents were friendly and quiet

I find it interesting that as more info comes out of the FBI, we find it is related to an out-of-state criminal investigation. Sounds like it has the potential to be terror related given the circumstances. But then, that is unsubstantiated speculation on my part here.

As more info is revealed, perhaps the focus will become more clear.

If any ATS members are in the area, any "grape vine" tidbits are welcome to be posted here for discussion.

I think there are actually a handful of members from this town. Hopefully they can fill us in. The fact that this is flying quietly and not paraded round national TV tells me there is some seriousness and validity to this, and not just some entrapment psy-op for PR and funding purposes.

Dearborn, hmmmmm.....

Dearborn seems to be continually in the news for "national security" incidents of a particular flavor.

Shocker right?

Story says they came from Lebanon, but I'm wondering if they actually were Syrian refugees.

That does make it suspicious and seemingly more important. Especially when the FBI makes a proactive statement that other residents are in no danger.

Reminds me of........

I see, thanks for clarifying.

I now return you to your regularly scheduled conspiracy discussion, already in progress...........

For what it's worth, my younger brother in one of the Detroit 'burbs spoke with a stepcousin who works in Dearborn earlier. The rumor mill at his work says, according to our stepcousin, that it's related to hacking of the digital variety. I believe that also falls under National Security tags, so we'll just have to wait & see who's right.

Without a little background, the "oh yah its Dearborn" anti muslim crowd will leave you connecting more terror dots here in this country.

That is very interesting. Thanks for the tidbit. Yes, any digital hacking (I hate the "cyber" prefix) would fall under that category as well. IT very well could be that!

This does seem to be shaping up to be very interesting indeed.

Keep the tips coming folks!

Yes it is. Relevant that Dearborn has a high Arab population (read that Muslim), that hoaxes like the anti muslim protest rally and fake church sign (all covered in threads here) misled everyone into more Islamaphobia. Just like this thread is designed to do...

I beg to differ. I did NOT "design this thread" as you say to foster Islamaphobia. Nowhere did I mention any religious specifics, I only listed facts (as they are know to date). I suggest you pull in your claws as his is not the mud pit.

I welcome any and all discussions, if based upon facts.

Thank you.

And you just gave them the headline they will use in the little red banner and for twitter. LOL
Don't worry, they will blame Trump and figure out how to make it stick later (never).

Yes, you did. From your OP...

Sounds like it has the potential to be terror related given the circumstances.
