Why Ivanka Skipped Trump's Paris Agreement Announcement

No much to think about it, really, Trump send a message to the rest of the Paris agreement countries, taking into consideration that US tax payers as usual are the ones getting the short end of the deal, US send the most money somebody else makes the profits, Trump is the president, she is his daughter plain and simple.

Still Trump let the door open for renegotiation, just like any other business deal that doesn't meet the standards of the biggest contributor.

The Left has rolled back regulations that stopped corporations from polluting our water and air, slashed spending on healthcare for the poorest citizens, attacked our First Amendment freedoms, given tax breaks to the wealthiest citizens, broken treaties with our allies... oh, wait....

I wouldn't disagree, but then I have a more traditional, libertarian view of what the Constitution and the Founders intended.

The Left, in my opinion, thinks the government should have broad powers to dictate and attempt to make us all equal in our outcomes by force. And you are absolutely correct that would destroy a lot of what America was intended to be, pretty much all of it actually.

How about Obama pledge of 30 billions in 5 years, with 3 million on a fund for risky insurance when Americans are still trying to get funds for last year tornadoes in the US.

US is always the biggest contributor and we the tax payers are the losers.

I think with Ivanka and Jarred not wanting him to pull out made his decision difficult. It makes sense she wouldn't stand next to him and clap.

Regardless of how much you hate Trump, he did this because he thought it was in the best interest of the people of the US. We didn't loose any ability to engineer new technologies, hell, we didn't even loose the opportunity to work with other nations. What we lost is the financial obligation that Obama made without consulting anyone else.

This rift is very interesting, as many have said Ivanka has too much control over President Trump.

Ivanka and Jared also left town during Trump's first health care plan push, that failed to get the votes in needed in the house.
