If she sues Trump i predict that the judge throws the case out of court after a filling of a motion to dismiss,
And that the judge will ream her and her lawyer out for a frivolous law suit.

Then trumps lawyers will seek sanctions and attorney's fees from KG.

Free speech is reserved for political criticism. If you don't like the president, you are free to make a public speech outlining your criticism with details and make your thoughts known to the president. Free speech does not cover personal attacks and racial attacks and religious attacks. That's not what the first amendment is for. If you do a graphic personal attack and cause psychological damage, you are liable for jail. Simple as that.

I am not sure what you meant by "truthful" - it was cartoon. It was meant to be humorous and mock someone others see as an important leader.

Though there are extremists who do terrible things and also see that person as a leader, there are also many who do not do any of those things.

I had a friend who was muslim at the time, who felt terribly torn- she hated what the terrorists did, but also felt deeply insulted by the cartoon. I know she was against all extremist muslim groups and active in trying to keep them out of her neighborhood and away from her kids.

There is the valid argument that throughout time, all cultures have someone in the role of clown, jester, or comedian, who use humor to point out our hypocrisies and taboos and inconsistancies. There is a place for that too- we all need a light hearted way of facing ourselves honestly.

Tact at certain very painful points is what I lean towards though. Just my opinion.

NO on censorship. Yes, on consequences. You are telling me the Hebdo wasn't expressing truth? I saw a few of those and pointing out the part where little girls were his sex toys and the other crimes against mankind in the name of a little g god and not at all as professed as the true "Great I AM" was really selfish greed and as such that lifestyle simple deserves the UTMOST ridicule and up to forcible removal from every polite society on the planet. Failure to stomp out a nest of scorpions in your house is tantamount to suicide.

KG is allowed her free speech even if I don't like it.. See that George Carlin hour it has stuff that turns my stomach AND it makes me roar with laughter like a drunken sailor. Besides, don't you want to easily identify who the idiots are so you can avoid them more readily. My reasoning says however, there are consequences for actions chosen. Just like when you challenge a hornets nest, you play around too close to a nest of them like a dumb ass and you will get stung.

If nothing else, being THAT kind of stupid as Ms Griffin, should really be a criminal offense. You do NOT joke around with cutting people's heads off - and disrespecting the very President of your own country like that, just because "you don't like him, he's not my president", is laughable at best, and indicative of a mental disorder at worst.
