People are bound up in the "news" about trump and what he's doing, most threads are about him, the top threads are about him. The TV, (tune to any news channel right now and I bet the word Trump appears somewhere on screen). This is called indoctrination, brain washing, conditioning.

When you leave for a few days and come back you see how infected everyone is by it.
I just go meh, boring... and go do something else.

Fair enough. I am not sure any countries' leader in my lifetime has grabbed so much of the news cycle as Trump. Unplugging literally means not consuming any media at all.

I was cured by 'homelessness'. Looking at the world from the outside in gives one a whole new perspective. The last stint was about 7 years, when I got back I realized I hadn't missed a thing.

The 'new 'endless cycle of war, corruption and "Politics" (lies, deflection and cover up) was the same as the last one (Vietnam) and the one before that (Korea)-- AKA, Cold War, et al.

if only they would comprehend that the libaralism they live is far far away from what´s called liberalism in Europe. That being said, our media is working hard to change that.
