As part of Wednesday's late day bombshell dump, the Washington Post has revealed that former FBI Director James Comey’s decision to unilaterally announce the closure of the investigation into whether Hillary Clinton intentionally mishandled classified information was inspired by a "secret, dubious" Russian document, that FBI officials now believe was “bad intelligence.”

Keep in mind I don't think Trump will be a prolific president or even close.

The secret document, which purported to be a piece of Russian intelligence, claimed that former Attorney General Loretta Lynch had privately assured someone in the Clinton campaign that the investigation into Clinton’s handling of classified information would go nowhere, "a conversation that if made public would cast doubt on the inquiry’s integrity."


Current and former officials have said that document played a significant role in the July decision by then-FBI Director James B. Comey to announce on his own, without Justice Department involvement, that the investigation was over. That public announcement — in which he criticized Clinton and made extensive comments about the evidence — set in motion a chain of other FBI moves that Democrats now say helped Trump win the presidential election.

But according to the FBI’s own assessment, the document was bad intelligence — and according to people familiar with its contents, possibly even a fake sent to confuse the bureau. The Americans mentioned in the Russian document insist they do not know each other, do not speak to each other and never had any conversations remotely like the ones described in the document.

In short they are saying Comey got tricked by a faked Russian document, the head of the FBI, fooled by the Russians.

Woof Blister was more emotional than usual about this today. Blamed the Russians for snatching the election from Hillary with FAKE documents that influenced Comey... "Without Russian interference, Director Comey would have closed the case without adding that Ms. Clinton was extremely careless...arrrrrgh!"

Come to think of it, President Trump could have been told by Putin how he fooled Comey (maybe more than once) and they both got a chuckle out of it. Trump fired Comey, just 4 days after he and Putin had a 1 hour phone conversation.

Maybe Comey really is a "Nutjob"...and "did a very bad job", as President Trump proclaimed. The conversation with Putin just verified Trump's hunch. There could be more incidents of Comey being hood-winked, that only the President and a few others know about.

BTW..the James Comey memos haven't been seen by anybody.

Me too! I wonder which investigation will prove Donald Trump "innocent" first? Senate/House/FBI/Special Counselor?

The video collage of Liberal MSM anchors, pundits, and Democrats... all labeling Trump as GUILTY before being proven INNOCENT...along with reading FAKE NEWS as if they got it from GOD himself, will be at least an hour in length!

Democrats probably won't believe any of the "We couldn't find anything." declarations until all 4 investigations declare this. By then they will have spent over $1 Billion of our dollars, wasted thousands of man-hours, and President Trump will be in his 2nd term.

Special counsel needs to look at the state of the media and how much it is controlling the nation with it's fake news.

Considering we learned from the DNC Wikileaks that the mainstream media was colluding with the Clinton campaign, that means anything published by ABC, Associated Press, Bloomberg, Buzzfeed, CBS, CNBC, CNN, Daily Beast, GPG, HuffPost, MSNBC, NBC, NPR, NY Post, New York Times, PBS, People, Politico, Reuters, The Hill, Univision, Vice (HBO), Vox, Washington Post (WaPo), the Wall Street Journal, and Yahoo News or any of their affiliates should be considered an unreliable and biased source of information.
