I had no idea you were a free lance journalist, I am glad to know that you are looking for the truth and will stay away from sensationalism and fake news.

I will be looking forward to give more attention to your threads on going news.

Sadly, the MSM is guilty of twisting "reports" and details to fir their narrative, and proclaiming certain accusations as FACTS (including in the headlines they use) without backing it up.

You defending this is as a self-proclaimed " real journalist " is pitiful, but not surprising, as many have fallen victim to this rhetoric.

Try again!

What exactly is the MSM? How are they twisting reports to fit a narrative? What is the narrative? What is the twist?

I fail to see how reporting on relevant items is twisting a narrative (I assume you're stating what you are in reference to Comey Memos, Trump giving intel, etc...)

That document says Russia has been working on Trump for OVER 5 years.

Correct. Russia routinely cultivates blackmail material to use against wealthy businessmen. It would be suspicious if the Kremlin did not have a "dossier" on him.

Unfortunately, it is exactly the confusion between editorial bias and pure fiction that is being exploited. There is a conspiracy to cause people to give up any attempt to evaluate the news clearly.

Whether one of our last true journalists (Michael Hastings) was murdered is irrelevant to this question, but I offer the following video for the clips it contains of Michael calling out the sold out MSM to their face ( and boy do their faces get interesting to look at!) and other points of interest germane to this discussion.

If you're on the fence about "Journalism" then watch this.

More like if it doesn't fit reality it will get picked apart.

You mean the personal reality you live in. Just because elected governments have sometimes used the media to further their agenda does not mean that everything the media says is government propaganda, nor is all government propaganda necessarily false! It is the failure of individuals to see nuances that results in black and white perceptions. If it's seen on TV, it must be a lie. That is seriously impaired thinking.

Please explain why anyone should believe the video you just posted. Can you prove that it is not just "fake news?" What difference does its content make if it may be designed to further an agenda? What sources does it draw on? Do you know them personally? Has Corbett ever been known to report erroneously? What are his biases? Who sponsors him? (He must get funding somewhere.) What is his sponsor's agenda?

Bingo...it's the editorial chief who molds, prepares, and delivers the propagandized news gruel. They don't get that position by being bearers of truth and journalistic integrity. Real journos get sidelined and/or damaging stories killed. The journalists who accept the control are the ones you see in headlines or on set.

Are you speaking from your own experience, or just parroting something you heard online?

And CNN is leading the charge...

They're all guilty, however. CNN is just the biggest slut and warehouse (whorehouse?) housing the intellectual chlamydia of all official propaganda.

Correction: what the real "enemies of the people" want you to believe is that "Journalism has been sold out by big corps intelligence community propaganda, money, and mouthpieces who prostitute and corrupt it." Even a broken clock is right twice a day. Stop spreading doubt and teach the people how to read the news correctly.

Enemies of the people...Like the sold out liars at CNN you mean? Until you address the blatant problems within the sold out press and the sad state of "Journalism," YOU are part of the problem.

Am I spreading doubt...or spreading knowledge and real world experience of who to doubt?

Very Fake News - Now The Scoop!

Address problems with the press? Sounds authoritarian and anti-free press to me.

Agree completely.

It's completely mind-bottling (yes, bottling) how some equate something like "Donald Trump's 2 scoops" headline to discrediting an entire established, vetted, and trusted news organization.

Sure, the "2 scoops" is absolutely ridiculous, completely irrelevant, and SHOULD be beneath CNN (or any news agency), but it doesn't dissolve their credibility.

Same thing when Sean Hannity on Fox News talked about President Obama asking for Dijon Mustard. News organizations should be above that, but they're not because their viewers/readers want that kind of information. They want the op-eds, not the facts. They want absurdity. The people want it and so the news organizations give it to them.

But misinterpreting things like the above and comparing them to "Seth Rich was murdered after the DNC (Hillary Clinton) ordered a hit on him for leaking to Wikileaks" is where the disconnect seems to be.

My own experience. Which reminds me, you should probably identify as a freelance writer rather than as a freelance journalist. Seems more appropriate.

Then your ignorance is showing mightily. Ignoring the problems may move a journalist up at, say, CNN, but at the cost of truth and a true free press.

Wait, you're supposed to be a 'real' journalist?

Starting with an ad hominem attack is a good way to underline an absence of legitimate argumentation.

The subject? Sure, on TV (in fiction programs) journalists get fired by their editors for dodgey sources. But from what I can tell, in the real world nowadays, the editors are total phonies by default, and they're all in on this game of push the partisansnip / militarism via cooked up stories where "anonymous sources" are the go to turnkeys.

Interesting stream of allegations without sources or evidence; exactly what you accuse the media of. I guess you do not follow the real world of the media enough to be aware of: Jayson Blair and Howell Raines, Janet Cooke, Jack Kelley, and other journalists who paid the price for doing what you seem to believe is standard journalistic practice.

You wanna debate the facts?

Of course you dont.

Those 2 threads I posted above are hardcore chronicles of FACTS about the matter, which you've spent the whole year dodging them and majority of the 15+ supplemental threads I had to do to even get to those summaries.

Dont just scoff, actually take em on.
