At least 20 people were killed Monday, and hundreds injured, in an explosion at Manchester Arena at the end of an Ariana Grande concert, according to preliminary findings, NBC News reported.

That is why I am very worried about the time being taken to confirm casualties. If there are many, then the police will not release any information until they have done their work.

My speculation right now is whomever did this wasn't a concert goer but instead placed the bomb(s) at the exit to go off when the concert was over.

If that were true it makes the dangers worse as the protection of screening people going into events will have proved moot.

I remember being a 14 year old girl, my friends and I allowed to go to a concert by ourselves for the 1st time... precious memories. I can't imagine having to go through something like this at that age.

Parts of the building have a large glass section and some reports state injuries could be from falling debris
