Huma Abedin Attorneys Filing Her Divorce Papers After Anthony Weiner Guilty Plea

Sources tell CBS2 Huma Abedin‘s attorneys are filing her divorce papers Friday afternoon in Lower Manhattan after her estranged husband, disgraced former Congressman Anthony Weiner, pleaded guilty to charges in a sexting investigation.

Weiner admitted in court that he transferred obscene material to a minor. It’s a federal offense that will force him to register as a sex offender, CBS2’s Marcia Kramer reported.

Weiner has been under investigation by the feds since last fall when reports surfaced he was exchanging sexually explicit messages for months with a then-high school sophomore that Weiner reportedly knew was under age.

Enough must be enough, Huma has finally said good bye to Weiner.
He has been under investigation since late 2016 for knowingly sexting a high school sophomore. So it is splitsville for this power couple as Huma is filing for the big D.

I hate to say this, but Mr. Weiner will most likely die in jail from an "apparent suicide"...

18 months, and it was a second time offence doing the same thing, as he did the same years ago and got caught. Dunno why she didn't divorce him before now. I would say, with this incredibly light sentence that the other dude who has the possibility of 20 years or more for the exact same offence, has a very good chance for appeal.
