I would like to know Fox's coverage on Obama as well.

According to Harvard "Nevertheless, the sheer level of negative coverage gives weight to Trump’s contention, one shared by his core constituency, that the media are hell bent on destroying his presidency."

It's literally impossible for him to have been doing anything as President on day 1 to garner such negativity, yet it was there.

The media is attacking Democracy itself, and it's disgusting.

When you show FOX was 93% negative towards Obama you are welcome to slam FOX's claim of being fair and balanced. So far their claim holds weight.

All the Trump supporters are asking the wrong questions in this thread.

When I go through ATS threads all I see all the time is people degrading the "liberal media" and blaming the media for Trumps every move.

As this chart shows though.

How can you not ask why a democratic Clinton received more negative press than George W Bush?

Why is the negative press for Trump unheard of amongst all.other presidents be they Republican or Democrat?

The answer

Because Trump really is that bad, it's reality. He is so blatantly obvious in his awfulness, I don't need the media to tell me. I felt this way about him before his campaign and his negative press.

I don't care about Obama as it is not my point. It has been proven over and over again that Fox News is very biased and very conservative. I've read enough articles and opinion pieces to know that. So no "fair and balanced" claim does not hold weight sorry.

Liberal opinion pieces or actual Harvard research .. hhmmmm.

If opinion is what you want, you already have it, no need to listen to anything fair and balanced just opinions you agree with.

Because back then he was considered a pretty Conservative Democrat, it was sort of his platform, the whole 'new Democrat" which was follow a lot of republican policies and run as a Democrat in order to get Dem and Repub votes.

Funny you should mention Clinton, I remember him admitting the media was liberal and complaining they were attacking him.

The irony here is people here dismiss whatever Harvard has to say because it's a filthy liberal university. But they'll accept them if it fits their narrative.

Not when you are not accounting for the presidents actions...

"Opinion pieces". You've just proved you have a reading comprehension issue. I was talking about Fox News' opinion pieces.

Fox aired more negative stories about Obama than positive on every aspect of campaign coverage ... and 51% were negative.

So FOX had 51% negative about Obama while CNN has 93% negative about Trump.

One seems fair .. 51% .. the other not so much. Guess which?

I will dismiss the injected opinion and slant, not the hard data. I dismiss any injected opinion on this topic too, I am only focused on the actual hard data.

Sorry, you never said anything about opinion pieces on FOX news, and what does an opinion piece have to do with their actual news reporting? Nothing. Oh and my dad was just like you, said FOX was so heavy in it's bias for Trump. Within minutes there were multiple negative opinions given on Trump.

*Facepalm* Are you that dense? Yes I said I have been reading enough Fox News' articles and opinion pieces to see that they are biased.
Clear now? Or do you want to continue being obtuse?

False. Not what you said.

It has been proven over and over again that Fox News is very biased and very conservative. I've read enough articles and opinion pieces to know that.

Nowhere does it say you are reading FOX. You said it's been proven, and opinion pieces tell it to you. I have read numerous opinion pieces bashing FOX.

Actual proof, including a source YOU linked proves you wrong.

Why the hell would I want to read opinion pieces against Fox News and use that as proof?
Apparently logic escapes you.
Have a good day.

Because you have a clear bias. I will repeat myself. Opinion pieces have nothing to do with actual news broadcasting. You sourced a study that proved FOX was fair and balanced. Thanks.
