I'm sure that the data is accurate. However, the conclusion that it is manmade is still conjecture.

According to who? Scientists around the world agree that man made climate change is real. This is just another symptom of it.

Al Gore also said water levels would rise, and coastal cities would be under water. I don't see the beach from my house yet... what happened there? Maybe we should pay Al Gore billions of dollars to protect us from the boogey man known as climate change... or global warming... or weather patterns.. or falling skies... or pink unicorns..

I said nothing of Al Gore. I said scientists. Please stop distracting.

But Al Gore will cite those very scientists.

Derp?

Good for Al Gore. Again. I'm talking about scientists. Making dumb, snippy attacks on Al Gore doesn't discount the data and research that scientists have accumulated to demonstrated the veracity of this theory.

Sure, the Admiral put in charge of a Navy fleet was obviously completely bonkers.......so there was no green land in Antartica in the 50's, is what you are saying....?

"Better" as in, more educated, less wasteful. Recycling, lower emission vehicles, CFC's removed from sprays (remember that one?), unleaded petroleum etc etc.

I personally think the biggest problem is there are too many cars on the road.

Bull#! There is no way that photo was taken 100 years ago. When you click on the link it says. "Reindeer at Svalbard." You are lying and misrepresenting your source.

Yet one of the biggest issues of the day is the US trying to leave the Paris Climate Agreement that literally 99% of the world has signed onto.

Come on people. Do you really think that what we have done to the environment has ZERO affect? Sure sure sure, it will happen on it's own - hence Climate Change - but throwing petrol onto a fire and then saying it has no affect on how quicker it burns, is stupid...

We're not going to have to deal with it for centuries though.. the earth will rid herself of us. She always heal herself.

How do you know that he didn't see that? Have you been to Antarctica?

Actually I have
I did a flyover tour a while ago.

Oh yeah and there's satellite photos proving no "portal".

Awaiting some nonsense about "the photos are doctored...."

I think you are missing the point of what I'm saying. The point is that "scientists" can say whatever they want to say, and most people will believe them because they are "scientists". I bet you most users on ATS only know what they know about climate change from reading about it. I doubt most people get out and do these tests themselves. Have you?

I see a lot of people running the climate change scam angle a lot, and I just find it hard to believe that with new data reporting record ice, less drought, less crazy weather, no coastal flooding, and a cooling trend that it is caused entirely by humans alone.

How much money have you spent to offset your carbon footprint? Whats your carbon credits bro?

No. I understand your point rather well. It's the same low hanging fruit you deniers always attempt in this thread for easy stars. Bring up Al Gore as a foil to discount scientific research without actually looking at the research to see if it is valid or not. Which brings me to the next low hanging fruit that you just checked off of the "Denier Checklist".

Whats your carbon credits bro?

Wake me when you get to a real argument that involves science.

That photo is CLEARLY captioned with "Reindeer at Svalbard."

Nice try. Actually it wasn't, it was pathetic. All it took was going to the link and checking the caption under the photo.

Scientists around the world also agree that the entire Solar System is warming up. Many also agree that Solar activity is warming up this planet. Who would have thought?

So when you are in summer, and it's stinking hot, you dont mind others setting your house on fire while you wear thermal undies?

"But it's summer, so what if it's hot - it should be. and I paid for these undies. and not my fault the house is on fire. I didn't throw the match."

Al Gore has pretty much single handedly ruined the credibility of climate change by being a shill. I bet if Al Gore hadn't taken up this cause to run a scam, more people would be on board.

Weather changes, Its random.. you cannot predict random.

Wow, a bit slow are we.....the point is that if the whole solar system is warming up, it is not caused by humans........
