after it went straight in direction for a little bit it kind of did a massive 'S' shape manoeuvre before disappearing from sight.

Almost certainly that's what it was, without a doubt.

It couldn't have been a "Chinese lantern" in that it evidently moved at a speed far above any apparent wind.
Of course, the typical explanation today is that it was a drone.

The movement wasn't too erratic, it wasn't zig-zagging as such. It just sort of curved in a giant S but maintained the speed it was going
