I haven't really been following the Comey gibberish on TV because I don't believe anything the MSM reports or claims. So thanks for shortening the entire months long debacle into something I can absorb in less than 5 minutes. Also notice that I was right to ignore the MSM after all, yet again. Hahah.

If not then you would have zero real life data and would only believe fiction..

I think I need to clear up a complete misunderstanding that many people have about divulging classified material.

I was listening to Ben Shapiro and he pointed to the defense of Trump by stating that he didn't give up sources and methods not being a valid defense if he did in fact give up classified material. Ben is WRONG...

Let me explain why that is relevant, especially when you bring up the fact that it's code word intelligence that was discussed.

Code word intelligence is SCI (Special Compartmentalized Information) intelligence. It is the highest level of classification that we have.

Whenever you have to brief non-cleared personnel, you have to scrub intelligence.

Now let's forget about the fact that Trump is the POTUS and can pretty much decide carte blanche who he can reveal classified intelligence to or not for a minute.

The thing to understand about SCI or most intel that is TS and above is that almost ALWAYS, the reason for it being classified as such are sources and methods.

That is why Trump not divulging sources and methods is a big deal. By not divulging sources and methods, it very well could be considered scrubbing of the material.

I've heard that he spoke about a city where the intel was gathered and that that if given to the wrong people may have led to compromising the source. I don't know that an entire city would or wouldn't give up the source. I suppose it's possible if there aren't very many people in the world who could've been the source. You would need to know the context.

When we would have to scrub material for divulsion to non-cleared or lesser cleared personnel, in many cases, it was simply a matter of removing the methods and sources.

For instance, I can show you an SCI classified photo of a vehicle's license plate whether you have any clearance or not.

If you have a secret clearance, I can tell you that the photo was taken by a reconnaissance satellite.

If you have a top secret clearance, I can tell you that the satellite was 50 miles away when the photo was taken.

If you are read into the relevant programs, I can tell you the name of the satellite, the name of the software program that was used to break out the imagery and the names of the people in the truck that we were surveilling.

That's why sources and methods being divulged are important. I know it's great to say, oh code word level intelligence was divulged. No, if sources and methods were not divulged, it's unclear that there was ANY breach of security, let alone an SCI breach.

Hell, half the reason I buy the Russian connection is because trump wouldn't have to trade anything Americans care about (sanctions/ukraine)..
