What it is, I am not buying the fantasies you guys are caught up in such as "Muh Russians" and all it permutations.

You and your ilk are doing harm to this nation and it's people because the business of government is not getting done due your distractions. That's by design.

All because your guy failed miserably, his planned replacement lost due her corrupt ways and you just cannot stand success by any other means or beliefs but your own sides Ill conceived worldview.

Nope, no sale, not ever.

All Flynn stuff after 1/23 WaPo article is unproven inuendo.

Trump had no reason to ask Comey to squash anything - now where's copy that memo?

Is it in archive? Or you mean one Comey kept in violation government records law, the one he can't produce without impugning himself - yeah that memo.

Witch hunt in house of mirrors using lasers is what this is.

Well said. The enemies of the US and the western world are circling, and they are liberals, and unfortunately many are Americans who sold out their country.

Thanks for debunking yourself.
So Trump did take the advice of the Deputy AG. He WAS going to do it anyway if the Deputy AG said no, that is true, but you pushed back on someone who said he took the AG's advice. Your push back was spurious.

It's a great time to be a democrat, to sit back and watch all this karma. Drip, drip, drip, drip, President Trump, just like they did with Hillary. I almost feel sorry for the guy because it will never end now, like with Hillary.

You all need to get your story straight.

I thought Hillary was hacked by the evil russians?

"You all" need to get your reality straight...

Hillary is history. Trump is the topic.

If the best you boys can do is keep shouting Obama! Hillary!...you boys are in serious trouble.

They most certainly are not history. Hillary herself has clearly stated she is part of the 'wesistance' and is making public appearances and statements to denigrate the President. Therefore she is current and fair game. Her crimes can most certainly be looked at again and no doubt Trump is going to need to get Sessions to go after some of these deep state traitors.

As usual, prone to dramatics in order to display your involuntary need for partisanship. The Liberals are not to blame here. This situation is not of their own creation.

This is on Trump and those he chose to surround himself with.

i do not think the video you posted says what you think it does
here are a few quotes

The president also said he supports a full investigation into Russian interference in the U.S. election last year, saying he wants the probe to be done "absolutely properly."

Trump said he never tried to pressure Comey into dropping the FBI probe of the Trump campaign and insisted, "I want to find out if there was a problem in the election having to do with Russia."

"As far as I'm concerned, I want that thing to be absolutely done properly," Trump said.

Asked by Holt if by firing Comey he was trying to send a "lay off" message to his successor, Trump said, "I'm not." "If Russia did anything, I want to know that," he said.

No he didn't. He said he was thinking about firing Comey anyway

The video is right there on this page.

Where did he say he "was thinking about it"??

You seem to have invented that?

I do see him say
"I was going to fire James Comey, My decision"
Q: You had made the decision before they came to see you?
"I Was going to fire Comey"
Q: You had already made your decision (before the recommendation)?
"Oh, I was going to fire him regardless"

I can go on?...but you got a vid right there?

No need to invent things Trump never said...

There it is again. The buzz words of the week. "Deep state".

How is it that so many on the Right have been regurgitating those words so freely lately? Do you guys get the same talking point memos?

Perhaps the echo chamber is hard at work?

Started the process? What are you going on about?

Then after all of that it is all trumps idea and he obstructed justice in doing it?

Lmao. According to Trump, yes:

TRUMP: Oh, I was going to fire regardless of recommendation.

HOLT: So, there was...

(CROSSTALK)

TRUMP: They -- he made a recommendation. He's highly respected. Very good guy, very smart guy.

And the Democrats like him. The Republicans like him.

He had made a recommendation. But regardless of recommendation, I was going to fire Comey knowing there was no good time to do it

And in fact, when I decided to just do it, I said to myself -- I said, you know, this Russia thing with Trump and Russia is a made-up story. It's an excuse by the Democrats for having lost an election that they should've won.

Transcript source

Now you know how Sean Spicer feels. You try so hard to defend this clown and then he opens his big clown mouth and contradicts your narrative.

Spurious. What Trump had decided to do does not take away the work that others had done and the recommendations they made. I am assuming you are not claiming that the DoJ is in on the 'Wussia cover up'.

Actually those words have been brought into focus by the left this week, with CNN openly stating that the deep state are getting back at Trump because he has criticised the intelligence community. Dana Bash even went so far as to describe who they are. So, no, the 'echo chamber' is not hard at work. Perhaps step out of your own and drop the 'only the Right say ...' nonsense.

There is no evidence anywhere that Trump fired Comey to squash the Russia investigation. That is just the reality you have to deal with or ignore for an alternate one, which is the option you have chosen.

You are going into bizzaro world now, not sure how to respond?

The poster I responded to said
"The ONLY part of getting rid of comey that involved trump was his following what his doj recommended."

Trump said multiple times when asked about that DOJ recommendation:
"I was going to fire him regardless"

People with normal cognition abilities understand those to things directly contradict one another.

Odd, considering that you are, I believe, the 4th person today I have seen blab on about the "Deep state" and Trump. And that is just on this forum. I've notice the same thing being regurgitated on other comment sections during my casual reading.

CNN may have said something similar, but you guys sure picked it up fast and ran with it.

Trump, his actions and those around him can't be blamed for any of this...it's the "deep state"!

Edit:

Perhaps step out of your own and drop the 'only the Right say ...' nonsense.

Did I say ONLY the Right?

Sure there is..
Trump asked for James Comey to declare loyalty to him multiple times.
- Comey did not
Trump asked James Comey to "let go" the Flynn investigation.
- Comey did not
Trump fired Comey 4 years into a 10 year term.

The above are documented contemporaneously in FBI files with at the time debriefs to Comey's aides and selected senior staff.

Apart from that there is a tonnage of reporting that Trump has been railing on about Comey and the Russia investigation for months to aides, staff and friends.

Whether that evidence leads one way or another can be cleared up via the WH turning over communications on the matter...or better yet audio tapes...which should be easy as they can claim there are no communications regarding Trump discussing shutting down the investigation?

Lets have Trump himself put this to bed and explain it under oath, or legally respond to a request for communications about the same saying they don't exist.
