Here is the article

Since your link wasn't posted right.

Rather interesting that RT is carrying this article, especially considering how rabidly the MSM in America has been going after NK.

How curious... curious indeed..

RT isn't "American", but they're the ones with the article.

I suppose one would have to look at what Russia has to gain by sharing this news.

What N K fears its that 's its missiles can be disabled once going toward A merica. Those of us in the Military or knows what is the truth, can and will tell you NK is nothing but a minnow swimming among sharks.

I read on another forum the tech originated from the NSA. NK could very well be the one that utilised it.

Why?

Let's consider this for a moment.

If NK truly is behind this ransom ware attack, what purpose does it serve NK?

It has not raised more than a few tens of thousands of dollars despite its worldwide spread.

It has not affected any military or intelligence services as an effective "weapon" might be expected to do.

It has not even been as disruptive as a chemical, biological, or even an EMP might have been: all options NK is believed to be capable of carrying out.

And, if reports are to be believed, the effective elements of the ransom ware code were actually derived from the US NSA. That alone should raise some yellow flags when it comes to pointing fingers of blame.

Some one wants a shooting war between the US and NK and they appear to be egging BOTH sides to that end.

I suggest we take a step back and figure out just who is pulling the strings.

Maybe it was the US trying to frame NK? Maybe what russia really wants is for the US to attack NK because he thinks it would make them weak if they did?

yeah right..

CIA did this little hit.

Why would you hit UK hospitals if your aim was to fleece 300$ out of them?
Who's gunna pay, doctors, nurses, government?

As soon as emergency rooms had to turn away patients the motive became clear.

This HACK endangered lives.
The TOOL used in the hack was one the NSA Created, that Julian Assange leaked in his batches.

The US now has a reason to storm the embassy and arrest Assange, he put lives in danger.

Yes Ecuador will yell and scream but Trump will write them a big fat cheque!

so the country who's internet can be hacked by a 10 year old, supposedly. doesnt have 24hr electricity, and still use windows 3 apparently, according to 'expats' and has 1 successful missile launch in 20, and who's internet was easily hacked during the 'the interview' movie saga... now has the know how to plot a massive global attack against some of the most sophisticated networks...

and we think NK are the ones who brainwash their citizens with propaganda?

next, i bet the US IC community will have irrefutable evidence the attack came from NK... along with satellite images of their WMDs and top secret video evidence from unknown sources of Kimmy having one of his generals shot by a 300 caliber ray-gun from the future then feeding the corpse to alligators he keeps as pets for his great grand children whom are all held captive against their will.......

Maybe we should scour Reddit for someone asking how to modify code.

I bet we find another Clinton-esq associate hired to make things happen.

Which then will be tied over to the Russians, because #RussianHackers stole her election.

The first paragraph is interesting, but it looks like most people didn't read it.

(bold mine)

The source for WannaCry ransomware, which has spread to 150 countries, may be Pyongyang or those trying to frame it, security analysts say, pointing to code similarities between the virus and a malware attributed to alleged hackers from North Korea.

Forgive me if I'm wrong but was it not Secure team hacking group who released the file dump of tools, after initially failing to sell it on the dark net, all wikileaks did was release a synopsis of what they contained?

RT.com has been reporting things that the US media doesn't. Sometimes you have to call bs but many times they hit the news first.

Now comes the Wire services: Link
