From the Qur'an

Allah (God) says in the Quran,
"And he (Jesus ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﺍﻟﺴﻼﻡ ) shall be a Sign (for the coming of) the Hour (of Resurrection); therefore have no doubt about it (the Hour). And follow me (Allah), this is a Straight Path." (Quran 43: 61) Ibn Abbas has said that the meaning of this verse is that Prophet Jesus' ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﺍﻟﺴﻼﻡ descent is a sign of Qiyamah. (Musnad Ahmad)

From the hadith

Huzaifa bin Usaid reported that Prophet Mohammad ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ suddenly came to us while we were talking. He asked, "What are you talking about?" We replied
"We were talking about the Last Hour." Prophet (s) said, "It will never come until you see ten signs before it. He then mentioned the Smoke, the Dajjal (Anti-Christ), the Daabba, the Rising of the Sun from the place of its setting, the Descent of Jesus son of Mary (from Heaven) , Yajuj and Ma'juj (Gog & MaGog)..." (Sahih Muslim)

Abu Huraira narrated that Prophet Mohammad ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ said: "There is no prophet between me and him (Jesus Christ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﺍﻟﺴﻼﻡ ). He shall descend so, recognize him when you see him. He is a man of medium height, (his complexion) is between reddish and white ; he will be between (or dressed in) two slightly yellowish garments ; His head looks as if it is dripping water even though it is not wet. He will fight people in the cause (for the sake) of Islam, will break the Cross and kill the swine (pig) and abolish Jizya (tax on Christians and Jews); and Allah will put an end to all religious sects except Islam during his (Jesus') time. He (Jesus) will slay the Antichrist (Dajjal) and he will stay in the World for 40 years. Then, he will die and the Muslims will perform the funeral prayer for him." (Abu Dawud and Musnad Ahmad

Prophet Mohammad ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ said: "In the meantime, while the Dajjal will be busy doing this and this, Allah will send down the Messiah son of Mary (Jesus ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﺍﻟﺴﻼﻡ ). He (Jesus ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﺍﻟﺴﻼﻡ ) will descend in the eastern part of Damascus, near the white minaret (tower), dressed in the two yellow garments , with his hands resting on the arms of two angels. When he will bend down his head, water drops will appear trickling down, and when he will raise it, it will appear as though pearl--like drops are rolling down. Any disbeliever whom the air of his breath reaches, and it will reach up to the last limit of his sight, will fall dead. Then, the son of Mary will go in pursuit of the Dajjal, and will overtake him at the gate of Lud , and will kill him." (Sahih Muslim, Abu Dawud, Tirmizi, Ibn Majah)

That'll be a false Jesus; the real Jesus will not descend on Damascus, and he would never, never wear yellow.

Lol

The Jesus that Muslims know is the one mentioned in the gospels, not the Christian interpretation of him (that he was God in the flesh), but the same Jesus of the Bible: descendant of David, virgin born, Messiah and word of God.

Same guy, different opinions of who he is. He gives a # about Damascus and no way the guy wears yellow. Maybe camouflage with some gold tones, never yellow!

Jesus is not coming back in the flesh. The Hadith is incorrect. However, the Quran does call for a final prophet who comes with proper interpretation but without miracles.

Jesus, a Spirit from God and the Word of God will descend upon humanity as a spiritual force only.

This is the same prediction found in all of the world's major religions.

The last prophet will show the world how religion, which is Anti-Christ, has separated them by false interpretation and will return mankind to righteousness with the understanding of the truth.

All religions will be seen as predictions of the same light, Jeus Christ, and all followers will worship the prophets who all spoke about the light, and the internal relationship mankind has with God.

Islam, means one who surrenders his will to God. According to Quran Islam is not a religion. The Quran only predicts thAt mankind will all agree to surrender their will to the same God, as all the major religions teach one God.

The prophets all agreed, their is only one Gis, and his light dwrkks within us. This is what all will follow when the prophet is revealed to the world.

The day is certain to come.

Jesus is never coming back because no one would ever agree he is here.

the 'Jesus' in the Koran is fake Jesus. the Bible refers to him as the false prophet who enables the antichrist.

real Jesus will come a few years later and establish His Kingdom.

so it has been written. so it shall be done.

I think they are referring to the Messiah. Not necessarily Jesus. Muslims do recognize Jesus, but not nessessarily as the trinity. A messiah is one who can link directly to god and steer his power. Another word would be the Kryst.

As a non-believer, watching the comments about who's Jesus is the better Jesus in this thread is hilarious

You are actually very wrong, the Jesus from the old testament scriptures is both the same Jesus as shown time and again in the Christian scriptures (Which are far older than Islams interpretation) and the same Jesus of the second coming, He actually comes back to earth right were he ascended and that is most certainly not Damascus (great steel but did you know it actually came from India not Damascus).

Now you point to the Christian interpretation, let's have a closer look?.
The first christian's were Jew's, men and woman familiar with the scripture's.

You challenge that with the Islamic interpretation, let's have a quick case study.

over 500 year's after the time of Jesus a PAGAN salesman, a young man whom worked for a widow many years his senior in the desert trade city of Mecca but whom was a quick study with some decidedly less savory trait's had gotten to know the religion's, customs and tradition's of his many customers, he probably did not like the Persians because they were better traders?, He married his elder boss and took over the business which was now His but later fell out with the other well to do's in the city and got exiled, started his own religion.

He never received the holy ghost, never spoke to God but claimed to get his instruction's from the angel Gabriel, Never raised anyone from death etc.

After leading his cult followers raiding caravan's in his hatred for his old enemy's and to destroy there business and other exercised in his consolidation of power he became too successful and had become a cult leader who probably began to believe his own lie's, after taking Mecca in a stand down and accept my rule or die ultimatum he murdered his two main former rival's in yet another act of vengeance and while visiting his former temple were he was a pagan worshiper he had at first told his followers that the idols were the high flying cranes that could intercede with Allah for them, this threw his followers into confusion as he was telling them one thing then another and later scholars claimed he was possessed by Satan at the time (has a real prophet ever been possessed by Satan, not according to the old testament, the closest was the tale of Job and he was not possessed at all).

Oh and lest I forget, Allah is a Sumerian demon of Chaos and destruction almost identical to the Hindu Kali and definitely not Jehovah.

So I guess who is right and who is wrong is kind of subjective from SOME angles.

Lastly you are correct on this point HE is coming back but also he is still with us (Even to the end of the world), his second coming is the angry Jesus and he will likely be throwing Muhammad straight into the fire for his crime's, every eye shall see him so something very obvious and not in Damascus though they will see him as well, those BEHEADED for his name sake are with him and come as an army no longer gentle but given angelic power and form and those that beheaded them will see them coming with him and he comes with Clouds and great glory so look up.

Ah the Ole Muslim conversion tool where they say they believe in Jesus but that he isn't the son of God. Muhammad and Jesus are complete opposites and...

Religion is a joke

I think that you aught to do a bit more research on this man in question. At his supposed time Mecca did not exist and when it did it was certainly NOT on any trade routes. The place you should look is Petra.
