This is a good decision from Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein. After all, there are THREE SIMULTANEOUS investigations ongoing into how the mighty and powerful country of Russia affected our 2016 Presidential election. Hundreds of people have been working on this every day...for MONTHS.
""Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein doesn't find it necessary at this point to appoint a special prosecutor to probe Russia's interference in the presidential election, CNN reported Friday, citing sources familiar with his thinking.
One source told CNN that Rosenstein is unlikely to make a change unless the FBI investigation seems endangered. Rosenstein has reportedly vowed to lawmakers and staff that he plans to allow the bureau’s probe to keep operating free of White House pressures.
Democrats have called for a special prosecutor in the wake of President Trump on Tuesday firing FBI Director James Comey, who was leading the bureau's investigation into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.
Senate Minority Dick Whip Durbin (D-Ill.) said Friday that Rosenstein must either name a special prosecutor or resign.
Sen. Dianne Feinstein (Calif.), the top Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee, joined that call on Friday evening, arguing that “these investigations are far too important to risk disruption, delay or interference.""

QUESTION: What is the PRIMARY REASON for these 3 simultaneous investigations?
I thought it was ascertaining exactly how RUSSIA was able to affect our election. But many politicians and MSM outlets say that the primary thrust is uncovering collusion between Trump's people and Russian contacts. Some others say that the "unmasking" and "leaking" aspects are now center stage.
Since they utilize so many resources, it's probably best to start winding them down if nothing meaningful is uncovered by a certain date, don't cha think?

You right wing idiots might want to take note that Comey didn't think a special prosecutor is needed too? WHY? Because the FBI has intelligence gathered by several US allies and will be moving methodically to get this autocrat out of office.
By the way, justice Roberts and Keagan are being briefed on high treason charges. People are going to jail after this no matter how hard you right wing dolts try to keep your head in the sand.
