To my own Mom and my 2nd Mother's Day without you, with love.





This will be a particular rough day for me as my own Mom is gone and I am not a Mother myself.

Please share something for your own Mom who has passed. You are not alone.

Thank you for posting this as Mother's day is hard for me as it is the day my wife received her headstone on her grave

I miss my mom almost every day, and it's been 38 years last Monday (May 8th).

How very sweet of you to say! I do have pets so I'm a pet Mom. That should count for something. I doubt they'll make me a card though. Thank you!

My heart goes out to you Hun! Your Mom passed the 8th of May and my Dad's ten year Anniversary for passing was May 9th.

We always carry them close in our hearts and thoughts. They are never very far away.

Night Star, I lost my father on September 19th, 2004 and I lost my mother March 3rd of 2005.. There's not a day that goes by that I don't think about both of them.

The only words of consolation I can give you is that I know it's very difficult for you right now, and frankly, the hurt never really goes away, but it does get easier with time.

Your mother is looking down from her place above the clouds beaming with pride.
In my opinion this community all owes your mother our collective thanks.

She did the one thing every parent strives for, she raised a beautiful human being.

Good and thoughtful thread Night Star.

My mother passed away 26 years ago, just a few days after I got back from the first Gulf War. She was 49.

I still wish her a happy Mothers Day every year.

How very sad, she was so young and it was a few days after your returning from the war.
It has been ten years since I lost my Dad, but it will be only be my second Mother's Day without my Mom.
I keep hearing of folks who have lost their parents for many, many years and it still touches their hearts. A parents love for us and us for them is timeless.

Like you, I shall always wish Mom a Happy Mother's Day. Hugs!
