There was never any legitimate legal question of his status as a US citizen. There was only racist innuendo from "Fake News" provocateurs. Obama was a US citizen, born in the US, with a Social Security Card, Drivers License, school transcripts, job history, a State Senator, a US Senator and was President of the United States at the time accusations were flying.

The POTUS can fire any department head in the Executive Branch without cause.

That's not the same as firing any civil servant willy nilly, now is it? The government isn't Mar A Lago. Trump can't fire civil servants like he fires waitresses that aren't pretty enough.

Trump can't summarily fire FBI agents and staffers because he didn't get a "warm welcome".
