i've never heard of nine feet tall vikings as in the first article. the others per the first were seven and eight feet tall.
could vikings have been that tall? maybe, but i doubt it very seriously.

besides that most native amercian/fn legends refer to the giants as monsters or men that ate the natives, not just men.

One Orangutan surprising simple village folk, would end up in the story myth, for a long time, if they migrated they would take the tale with them. Giant Sloth bones could be mistaken for human as well.

A few years ago i don't remember where i read this
It said how one of the Pharaoh fled Egypt taking with
him many of his followers and artifacts,and went into
exile in the Grand Canyon.
