“Just turn the lights off. Turn the lights off,” Spicer was heard saying as he emerged from the foliage.

LMAO!! Looks like Trump is shaking things up so much that members of his own staff have no idea what is going on. Sean Spicer was like "oh @#$* did they see me??" *dives in bushes*.

If I wasn't briefed totally on this by the white house I would avoid talking to the press too, Especially when the press twists everything you say nowadays. Evidently if you don't say anything they twist that too. This is evidence of that.

I think our whole country is getting messed up. Let these people come out with their formal statements when they are ready. No other White house administration took this much sh** from the people and media, thirty years ago these reporters who distort everything would have been arrested, thirty years ago we had common sense in our capital.

Our press has turned into the National Enquirer.

dang I wish somebody had taken a picture. It seems to be a bit spun though, as he was simply standing between some hedges near their sets as he answered questions after they complied to not record him doing so.

White House press secretary Sean Spicer wrapped up his brief interview with Fox Business from the White House grounds late Tuesday night and then disappeared into the shadows, huddling with his staff behind a tall hedge.

So its not like he was crouched in some dense thicket of shrubs. It was just him and staff hanging out between some hedges outside, where they already were and had just finished an interview.

I hope SNL does a skit with Sean Spicer being replaced by a talking bush.

This is bizarre.

Ha ha! I get you. Consider all the "twisting" being a manifestation of what is done between one and the other, (spouses, friends, co-workers, neighbors.) and it's just become so common place, that's all anyone knows how to do any more.

Spicer won't last much longer.

I can't imagine how hard it must be to lie and to have to explain what his idiotic boss says and does on a daily basis .

The only one of Trumps team I feel sorry for.

And I wouldn't blame you, but Spicers job is to talk to the press, he should have enough sense to answer questions with a 'I'll chase that up and get back to you' at the very least.

thirty years ago these reporters who distort everything would have been arrested

Only in a dictatorship. Whose doing the distorting exactly?

Our press has turned into the National Enquirer

Why? It's reacting to events and questioning them, would you rather they just wrote what your beloved leader wants them to write?

Poor.

It wasn't a dictatorship here thirty years ago. The press was not allowed to even ask our people in the white house anything except at press conferences. So why do you think that that rule was bad, it was the sensible thing to do. What is happening now is that questions are being asked before the official has had a chance to review what is happening, that leads to mistakes being said. That practice needs to be stopped once again. There is freedom of press but asking someone for information that has not been fully informed of what is going on only leads to improper release of information. These people have to discuss things with the president or the other members of the white house before answering questions.

It also appears that Sean was involved in some national guard obligation and he may not have been able to get all the info. His second in command gave the white house briefing because of this.

We do not have the right to have all information of everything that is discussed at the Whitehouse. Much of what they discuss is classified material. When they feel it should be released it will be. Our society has gone down the tubes, they think we have the right to know everything that goes on. That is rediculous, it could jeopardize national security if the wrong info is released. It is looking like these reporters action will soon be causing the creation of a law that severely restricts the power of the press in the near future. Their actions are starting to jeopardize the ability of our countries leaders to do their job correctly.

You watch and see, I am pretty good at predicting stuff like this, no politician wants to have their abilities to do their job compromised by disruptive people like this, the voting will be a vast majority when they pass a bill to clarify the use of the power of the press. Both Democrats and Republicans will sign this bill, all of their jobs are being made hard and all know to secure the ability of our government to work smoothly, this has to be controlled. The Media organizations have always been regulated, but evidently this information has now been disregarded by new people. When they do fix this, I think all media will be effected dramatically. Lets see if I am right, the writing is on the wall, if you cannot see it you are blind. No country can survive the way things are going in this country now, society has gone amuck.

Of course, we could let a radical left wing group take over and they will make sure anything they deem as unacceptable will cause punishment to the one doing it. The far left is definitely not democratic in nature, even though they call themselves democrats, they are expressing dictatorship qualities, their way or no way.

What does 'our people' mean? White House staff? Are you sure they would have been arrested or are you doing a Trump here and making your recollection appear as fact?

At least you are totally against wikileaks, Assange, Manning, Snowden etc., that's something.

The left are expressing 'dictatorship qualities' but it's you that wants the press arrested? Wow, I couldn't have made that up.

One good thing about the Trump administration is the laughs its providing. And watching and listening to Spicer stutter his way through explanations for his idiot bosses lunatic actions is wonderfully entertaining.

Donald...your man Spicer is bad at lying. Fire him and find someone who can face reporters and bullsh*t them in the manner befitting a man of your...ahem...stature

Surely one of his children could be given the job?
